Watched this video and immediately ordered the full Ti model. Love the look of the knife and S35VN works fine for me. Knife is drop-shut perfect & ergonomically excellent. Love it. Thanks Nick.
I just love the looks of this knife. Been saving up a few weeks now for it. I hope it's worth it. There are so many nice blades in that price range. I don't want to regret it. Love your work man. Keep it up
Hey Guys, Thanks to Stassa for the Video and to address some things. The scale issue that Stassa talked about must be an anomaly, I have handled more than a dozen examples and haven't seen it. It is a big knife and I doubt we'd do a Mini, the whole design plan for this one was to accommodate any size hand and be able to safely put loads of down pressure on the knife, a mini wouldn't be able to meet that goal as the finger choil would need to shrink. Not saying it's out of the question, just not at the forefront of what we're currently designing. In fact, It brings up new ideas for a lesser cost version, maybe. One last thing, the knife was designed to be choked up on most of the time and that's where we put the most design time in, to make sure that the knife was effective and ergonomically right for that hand position. Thanks to Stassa and for everyone watching the video, we listen to you and want to design and make things that you want in our style, so please give us your suggestions positive or negative, so together we can sculpt the future designs.
Hi Zelrick, how durable is the carbon fiber scale? It doesn’t appear to have a liner so I’m wondering how well it could handle very hard use, such as prying? I prefer the look of the CF version but I would want it to be as strong as the full Ti, so if you can comment I would appreciate it.
Joseph Cleland It’s not a pry bar, but I have been carrying and using a CF Shodan regularly since before release. It’s been a good knife and went through all that working in the shop throws at it. I have used it for all kinds of cutting, hacking and the like. I have not used it as a pry bar, so I can’t speak on that.
Great video Stassa! Loving the Shodan for sure. It’s a big girl. Any idea on Micarta Cru Wear Shamans out there for sale other than the secondary market?
Bestech is really upping their game with this knife. Great review. I am with you about big knives and this one does talk to me. If they make a mini version I am all in .. lol Have a good one. :)
This one’s gorgeous. Luv what TKT is doing. Beautiful! I do like everything about and it’s size is rite there in my wheel house. Thanks brotha for the review on this awesome 🔪 👏
That is a really nice one. I'm partial to a lot of the somewhat flat slab scale designs, so this one easily appeals to me; as does also the Fractal and the Horus within the Bestech line.
I love this one, I keep hearing everyone say it is just like a Strider...if anything it looks similar to the Strider AR/GB. I see the design resemblance, but it's definitely unique
I have a straight up knockoff of an AR - by Kevin John. The thing is bad ass. Try to find a real AR for sale for under a grand. Not gonna happen. (If you can find one)
I agree no knife nowadays doesn't have some resemblance to another. That is a great looking knife. I just got my Roxi 4 and am loving it . The Shodan is on the list now for someday. In a way they are alike yet very different. Can you tell me when you and Zel did the late night show. What was the knife he had with the warthog scale. I got the Victorinox version but would like to know what that knife was I thought it was an XM18 version but could be wrong. If you could let me know it would be appreciated. Great review so good I really want one.
Beautiful knife, Stassa, and great review👍! It may just be me but I didn't catch what the blade steel was? This company are knocking it out of the park at the mo, eh?😊🤘🤘
great design & build; but, be careful running your finger over the gap in the back spacer with the blade closed !!! video @ 5:49...have a great week...
When you build a knife with FRN, carbon fiber, or whatever plastic resin, show side, and a titanium lock bar side....by definition you are building a light to medium duty knife. So it doesn't really make sense to build a big light duty knife. The same knife with metal scales or stout metal liners can be used in more heavy duty chores, but really...a fixed blade is a good heavy duty knife. This knife is a show stopper, made to impress the potential buyer, but in actuality it is probably a closet queen...tacti-cool. Too expensive for putting in a drawer, and mostly for armchair warriors.
@@blueeyeswhitedragon9839 Absolute horseshit lol I have a vid on my channel where I pry pressure treated 2x4 apart with a half g10 Strider.... and the tip snapped .. the g10 side was Absolutely unscathed. Blade geometry and handle scale geometry make a hard use knife , not the materials.

always good videos. You are a big help and fun to watch and learn from. Thank you Sir.

Zelrick and Seth have a strong contender for Best in Show right there! That's a dynamite design and great execution. Show-stopper.
William Burke they definitely did a great job with it
Wow nice-- I'll definatly be pickin this one up, for sure. Thanks for showing. Peace brother.
Got to get this thanks for sharing great video bud
This is a beauty.
You do an excellent job of pointing out small details that are missed by other reviewers. Thanks for the therapy session.
I would really like to see a mini version as well

Zelrick thanks for the feedback. Great design and an extremely attractive knife!
I gotta get a marbled cf knife.I had been buying half cf and half titanium lately, like the aesthetics. Love the clip on this knife too.
👍Thanks!
Great review ! Love their designs , this one is no exception Good looking knife. Thanks for sharing !

Hey Rich it is an XM-18 sheepsfoot.
Beautiful knife, Stassa, and great review👍! It may just be me but I didn't catch what the blade steel was? This company are knocking it out of the park at the mo, eh?😊🤘🤘
This is Absolutely NOTHING like a Strider...
This knife is actually well made 🤣🤣🤣
Would love this in Full Ti Flame Anodized like They did with WE.
Looks like a great knife...still just a little big but I like the design aspects of it.
great design & build; but, be careful running your finger over the gap in the back spacer with the blade closed !!! video @ 5:49...have a great week...
There’s no knife in this world that doesn’t have another knife somewhere with some similarities to it.
The Shodan looks pretty sweet!!! Is your's a pre-production model that you got from Zelrick?
Good lord why do they have to make cool knives so big. I got away from big knives awhile ago. Just not needed.
Well "big" is highly subjective Lol
I'm guessing probably because some people prefer larger knives lol

Ak-47 blade with a strider handle. Like it alot, the price is a turn off though.
