And the range of Chrissy's voice is just amazing. The main reason for using SFX is because they can. It elevates the show to top notch. Because they have a lot of effects that are just part of their music and not really doable with one singer live. Look at performances from like Likin Park (undoubtedly not bad according to the popularity and fan support). They did it the same way. It's just part of a modern show.
