I'm an IT Pro...Here are a few security tips:
NEVER give remote control or remote access to your PC to an untrusted source.
NEVER enter credentials into any website while screen sharing, even if the info is masked.
NEVER click on any links or open any attachments in an unsolicited email.
ALWAYS move like someone is trying to jack your identity.
ALWAYS use at least 2 of 3 factors of authentication when possible:
    1) What you know: PIN number, password, secret, etc.
    2) What you have: Cell phone, Key fob, access card, etc.
    3) Who you are: Face recognition, fingerprint, eye scan, etc.

I was standing at the bus stop waiting on the bus when a random lady I don't even know just walked past me in spit on the back of my neck , lucky it wasn't my face but still the fact that she spit on me was so delvish of her. That's just too low to spit on someone who you don't even know for no reason I don't care if she has a mental health illness by talking to herself it's still wrong and when I said something I started following her she then picked up a huge brick. I was on the phone with the police and he told me for my safety not to follow her especially if she's talking to herself and has a brick in her hand. It's like she was schizophrenia.

Sorry Anthony. I had $20K stolen from me. I put the money in a certificate of deposit through a bank. I complained about the bank not sending me quarterly or yearly statements. I moved from Maryland to the west coast for my career. I forgot about the account until I retired 4 years ago. I was going through my investments, I found my CD called the bank and found out the bank was sold to another bank. The previous bank also had lost accreditation with FDIC. I sent letters to the State of Maryland Commissioner just to name a few places. I did an in-depth investigation for 4 months. I was never able to find my money.
I’m researching how to create a Bill and get it passed to require these banks and financial institutions to send their customers annual statements so that it’s less likely that one’s money is stolen.

If you're trying to correct how banks do business here's another issue you may want to look at, somehow include. A bank I belonged to was sold and the new bank sent me a statement about a missing payment, plus late fees now attached. I had made the payment by check from another bank I belong to, which confirmed the money had been transferred from my account. But the new bank insisted they needed to see the actual processed hard copy check as proof of payment. The very check that the sold bank had electronified and shredded paper version of during processing, so the bank that held the checking account never got the actual check back. Even the employees at the bank that had transferred the funds were going in circles trying to figure out how to resolve the issue with the new bank. There was no hard copy processed check, or actual complete copy of. Eventually we figured out that the new bank could not trace where the money had actually gone. Supposedly wanted to see the back of the check destroyed during processing, on which the info to trace where the money was placed in their system would be recorded. Without which, having me repay the payment was the easiest way to recover the misplaced funds. A mistake I played no part in, never should have been punished for. And eventually, without admitting any mistake or wrong doing on their part, the new bank offered to forgive the missing payment, remove the late fees. But only after making me and my other bank fight them tooth and nail for far to long.

I contacted the IRS the other day to settle a tax bill debt only to find out that my account was flagged for fraud. I was told that multiple tax returns were submitted for a current year and previous year. (I did not file those returns). As a result I had to go through multiple layers of security questions, etc.etc. etc. to resolve tax bill. I spent all day on the phone with the IRS which was exhausting. Long story short I believe my info was stolen when I used an online tax return platform to do my taxes... There is more to this story but I will caution anyone to think twice before using an online tax platform to prepare your taxes. Thank you Anthony for sharing your story..
