However, he has criticized Deion Sanders for taking a better opportunity at a PWI. He went as far as to state the Deion deserved 50,000 lashes! Umar is dangerous and a menace to society.

I graduated from an HBCU college my son did also. My daughter graduated from a PWI. I enjoy the experiences and make a very good living from attending. But, whoever shows the scholarship that’s where I would have attended. It doesn’t matter where you go, just remember you will be respected and get help way more that you will at a PWI. Just long as you attend if that’s what you want to do. Every one is not college materials. I have seen black men go just to pledge and drop out of college. I went to a PWI to get my Masters.

A lot of people wish they got the HBCU experience but didn’t have the opportunity because a PWI gave us money and we made the correct financial decision.

Unfortunately, Us Black people we really don’t like other Black people who tell us the raw heart wrenching truths. I think this may be taken out of context. Omar gave a different recommendation to a group of people who were most likely struggling financially. Deion Sanders has millions upon millions dollars, which makes his narrative totally different from the working class people.
