Sanji versus King will go the same way Zoro versus King went. You need ACoC or some durability bypass hax to defeat King. Marco has good feats against admirals and Big Mom, and is possibly stronger than King too. Sanji should be stronger than Katakuri though, so he is up there in 1st commander level. Blackbeard used to be no1 for me, but no longer after seeing all his dehype moments. It is Kaido. If Kaido is dead, then it is Mihawk or Dragon.

Yamato held Ace in a protracted 1v1. While wearing Kairoseki. Which prevents the use of her Devil Fruit; and nerfs her physical stats because she's a fruit user. That is fucking *bonkers* as a feat. Because of later scaling, people SERIOUSLY underestimate how strong Ace was intended to be.

There are a lot of facts that Mihawk is stronger than Shanks 1.Official, Shanks is a swordsman, but Mihawk is still the most powerful swordsman (although some say that Shanks is NOT ONLY a swordsman, the official vivre card data book clearly describes that he is a swordsman) 2.Mihawk's official vivre card records clearly state that he is currently waiting for someone stronger than Shanks. It follows that Shanks is no longer seen as a challenge. 3.Shanks in favor of many people arguing that he is an emperor, while Mihawk is just a Shichibukai. Being an emperor means not only being strong, you need territory, political influence, and a strong crew / fleet. In the absence of the latter, Mihawk would never be an emperor, nor would he care. 4.Mihawk vs Jozu / Vista: Many bring up these clashes against Mihawk but the answer is quite simple. Before Mihawk attacked White Beard, he mentioned that he just wanted to know how much of a difference they were. After Jozu fought off his attack, he realized at that moment that this was the difference between them: the good crewmates. This is the thing that makes Mihawk never be stronger than Whitebeard. In the case of Vista, he just didn’t take him seriously. When he was still fighting Zoro on East Blue, he mentioned "I'm different from those who give their all just to hunt down a rabbit," and that's exactly what happened to Vista. Sanji and Marco haven't shown any ability to hurt King at all. King in his flame-off state was still tanking ACOC Enma attacks. Neither Sanji nor Marco has shown any attacks on par with even base Enma. King clears both in a full 1v1 even if they can kick him around for a while. Sanji likely beats Katakuri though. His flames are a direct counter.

If he was weaker than Shanks, then someone on Shanks level would be more than enough for him. This is as clear as it gets that Mihawk > Shanks 3. Being a swordsman does not mean only skilled in swordsmanship it requires much more. A swordsman is a literal fighter which mean they will use everything and anything to make their swordsmanship stronger. Example, Zoro used Advance Conquerer's haki to boost his attacks when he fought against King does that mean Zoro is not a swordsman because he used other type of power other than swords attack? No Zoro is still a swordsman 4. When Zoro trains with Mihawk, Mihawk taught him haki he did not teach Zoro some special swords skills or attacks he prioritize haki above all to become a stronger swordsman. 5. Mihawk has forged his blade into a permanent black blade which is forged through countless battles by using armament haki. Again haki related not some swords skills. And he wields the strongest and finest black blade in the world right now plus the only living character to wields a permanent supreme black blade. 6. Mihawk epithet was once Clairvoyant and changed it to Hawk-Eye which states he has great observation haki. So far in terms of haki Mihawk armament and observation is stronger than Shanks with the exception of Shanks having superior Conqurer's haki than Mihawk. 7. There are many statements that implies Mihawk>Shanks but there are none implies that Shanks>Mihawk only insane display of power from Shanks.

Also it's been stated that Shanks can stop people from using high levels of future sight, so of Mihawk can't use future sight, and Shanks has higher levels of conquerors, it means Shanks is guaranteed advantage in at least two forms of Haki.... like the story hasn't said who is stronger, you're free to believe whatever you want, but you're certainly not convincing anyone else with your half story.

You know the Strongest Swordsman is a poor argument case for Shanks being weaker. 1. Shanks lost his arm a long time ago, he could have gotten used to his other arm and gotten even stronger. 2. It's just a title. Unless you seek it out, you aren't earning the title. After all, Shanks never cared about the title anyways. 3. In terms of Haki, Shanks is already the strongest living haki user in the series. And Haki transcends all. 4. Shanks has one haki feat no other character does which is to cancel out future sight. Ken Haki is what Mihawk is known for best. His title used to be Clairvoyant.

Josu was defeated by Doflamingo even when the latter hadn't his fruit awakened. The same Doffi, who, at his peak should not be in an actual top 30. So Josu is hardly even top 50 at this point. All the characters from this list, apart from Mihawk and Marco who were also present in the Marineford should have gotten a BIG power up to be here, and there is no such data about Josu.

@@arjunea4718 I still believe that the Luffy we have now, would beat Kaido, when both are fully rested, 1v1. Kaido fought more characters, but only a few dealt real damage to him, a few times, like Zoro, Law, and the 9 Scabbards with that one teamwork move . Outside of those , the rest were child's play to him, even his fight with Yamato. And Kaido rested as well , once when he waited for Luffy to get on the roof, after he beat the Scabbards, and between when he knocked out Luffy and got Gear 5. You can even argue that he caught his breath during the fight with Yamato. You can argue in favor of Kaido, because he held Onigashima, but that didn't seem like a big effort to him. If he needed to drop it down, to beat Luffy, he would have done it, I feel. On the other hand, Luffy got knocked out cold like 2-3 times and didn't "fully" rest after each one, not by a long shot . He was arguably in a worse state than Kaido when he unlocked Gear 5 , and even with an unmastered Gear 5, he still beat him.

The Vinsmoke have lineage factor boosts but the suits unlock the full genetic potential for them. They can use all of their abilities at the highest output. Durability and Healing get an increase. Elements get supercharged. Niji can make electricity but he can discharge enough to feed a power plant when his suit is on. Reiju can take in poison and spread it the suit gives her more control of the poison. Etc. I’m gonna theorize that Sanji goes invisible by shifting his density so without the suit he can still get lighter or heavier which makes him move fast enough to disappear and increase his mass for more explosive output in his attacks ( which is how I’d assume Diable lvl’d up into Ifrit. )
Queen and King was easily folded by Green Bull. Katakuri was slightly stronger than Luffy before wano awakening and haki training. There's no way that they're both stronger than Marco, who has gone toe to toe with every admiral in marineford.i am not saying he will beat them, but the fact that he could hang with them is a feat. 10 min fighting king and queen? you realize that marco fought king and queen BEFORE the rooftop 5 and AFTER the rooftop 5, all the way until Zoro came back to fight king. so that means during the whole rooftop he was fighting (luffy’s G4 time limit happened during the rooftop which takes i think 20-30 min to regain stamina) then luffy vs kaido 1v1, then yamato 1v1. he was either fighting king and or queen during that span, while healing ppl. he fought for a long time

So both queen and king using hybrid in a 2v1 vs Sanji compared to Marco fighting them in base. That alone scales him higher

There are a lot of facts that Mihawk is stronger than Shanks
1.Official, Shanks is a swordsman, but Mihawk is still the most powerful swordsman (although some say that Shanks is NOT ONLY a swordsman, the official vivre card data book clearly describes that he is a swordsman)
2.Mihawk's official vivre card records clearly state that he is currently waiting for someone stronger than Shanks. It follows that Shanks is no longer seen as a challenge.
3.Shanks in favor of many people arguing that he is an emperor, while Mihawk is just a Shichibukai. Being an emperor means not only being strong, you need territory, political influence, and a strong crew / fleet. In the absence of the latter, Mihawk would never be an emperor, nor would he care.
4.Mihawk vs Jozu / Vista: Many bring up these clashes against Mihawk but the answer is quite simple. Before Mihawk attacked White Beard, he mentioned that he just wanted to know how much of a difference they were. After Jozu fought off his attack, he realized at that moment that this was the difference between them: the good crewmates. This is the thing that makes Mihawk never be stronger than Whitebeard. In the case of Vista, he just didn’t take him seriously. When he was still fighting Zoro on East Blue, he mentioned "I'm different from those who give their all just to hunt down a rabbit," and that's exactly what happened to Vista.
Mihawk is a man who longs for only one thing and that is a challenge, but once he got to the top there was nothing and no one and no worthy opponent. Shanks was the only one he considered challenging until he lost his arm. I can imagine Mihawk was angry with Luffy and that’s why he scolded Marineford to find out if it was really worth Shanks sacrificing all their rivalry for. And that’s exactly why I think when he trained Zoro, he did it not because of Zoro, but because of himself, because he sees in it a rival who may one day outdo Shanks and be a worthy opponent.
If we look at Haki, we know that Shanks is called the killer of the observation and Mihawk is called Clairvoyant. These two things are closely related, because when they were rivals, they constantly tried to outdo each other, Shanks tried to counter Mihawk's observation haki, while Mihawk developed it more and more powerful so as not to lose against him. These two legends motivated each other and made each other stronger. In a word, it is not known if Shanks' Haki can completely shut down Mihawk's because they both represent what they are best at at the highest level.
Shank's importance to the story IS NOT contingent on him being the stronger than Mihawk, but Mihawk's importance to the story IS contingent on him being the strongest swordsman

Sanji and Marco haven't shown any ability to hurt King at all. King in his flame-off state was still tanking ACOC Enma attacks. Neither Sanji nor Marco has shown any attacks on par with even base Enma. King clears both in a full 1v1 even if they can kick him around for a while.
Sanji likely beats Katakuri though. His flames are a direct counter.

Reasons why Mihawk is actually stronger than Shanks:
1. Shanks is confirmed to be a swordsman by Oda in One Piece Application. SBS Vol 101 Red Databooks Facts and Mihawk is stated many times to be the Strongest Swordsman in the World, the one who sits above all other swordsman.
2. According to the One Piece Vivre Card Databook Mihawk is waiting for someone stronger than Shanks to one day appear. The implications of this statement are pretty important. If he was weaker than Shanks, then someone on Shanks level would be more than enough for him. This is as clear as it gets that Mihawk > Shanks
3. Being a swordsman does not mean only skilled in swordsmanship it requires much more. A swordsman is a literal fighter which mean they will use everything and anything to make their swordsmanship stronger. Example, Zoro used Advance Conquerer's haki to boost his attacks when he fought against King does that mean Zoro is not a swordsman because he used other type of power other than swords attack? No Zoro is still a swordsman
4. When Zoro trains with Mihawk, Mihawk taught him haki he did not teach Zoro some special swords skills or attacks he prioritize haki above all to become a stronger swordsman.
5. Mihawk has forged his blade into a permanent black blade which is forged through countless battles by using armament haki. Again haki related not some swords skills. And he wields the strongest and finest black blade in the world right now plus the only living character to wields a permanent supreme black blade.
6. Mihawk epithet was once Clairvoyant and changed it to Hawk-Eye which states he has great observation haki. So far in terms of haki Mihawk armament and observation is stronger than Shanks with the exception of Shanks having superior Conqurer's haki than Mihawk.

2)Sakazuki: he's the arguably the final boss of one piece along side BB and is gonna take on peak luffy, for me he is gonna be >= prime garp. Why do people think think Luffy gonna surpass roger but his opponents wont?
3)Mihawk: every single narrative point clearly shows Mihawk > Shanks. Oda said it, manga says it, shanks is confirmed a swordsman, and zoro+oden showed to be a stronger swordsman you NEED Advanced Conquerors haki. Mihawk absolutely will have it and is objectively > shanks.
You know the Strongest Swordsman is a poor argument case for Shanks being weaker.
1. Shanks lost his arm a long time ago, he could have gotten used to his other arm and gotten even stronger.
2. It's just a title. Unless you seek it out, you aren't earning the title. After all, Shanks never cared about the title anyways.
3. In terms of Haki, Shanks is already the strongest living haki user in the series. And Haki transcends all.
4. Shanks has one haki feat no other character does which is to cancel out future sight. Ken Haki is what Mihawk is known for best. His title used to be Clairvoyant.

@@arjunea4718 I still believe that the Luffy we have now, would beat Kaido, when both are fully rested, 1v1. Kaido fought more characters, but only a few dealt real damage to him, a few times, like Zoro, Law, and the 9 Scabbards with that one teamwork move . Outside of those , the rest were child's play to him, even his fight with Yamato.
And Kaido rested as well , once when he waited for Luffy to get on the roof, after he beat the Scabbards, and between when he knocked out Luffy and got Gear 5.
You can even argue that he caught his breath during the fight with Yamato.
You can argue in favor of Kaido, because he held Onigashima, but that didn't seem like a big effort to him. If he needed to drop it down, to beat Luffy, he would have done it, I feel.
On the other hand, Luffy got knocked out cold like 2-3 times and didn't "fully" rest after each one, not by a long shot . He was arguably in a worse state than Kaido when he unlocked Gear 5 , and even with an unmastered Gear 5, he still beat him.

5:23 he did not nerf himself by throwing away his raid suit. Him wearing it 3 times activated his genetically modified powers in his body when his dad experimented on him. He basically get his raid suit powers now without even wearing it. Example, his durability went up like crazy even without the raid suit. Correct me if im wrong
The Vinsmoke have lineage factor boosts but the suits unlock the full genetic potential for them. They can use all of their abilities at the highest output. Durability and Healing get an increase. Elements get supercharged. Niji can make electricity but he can discharge enough to feed a power plant when his suit is on. Reiju can take in poison and spread it the suit gives her more control of the poison. Etc.
I’m gonna theorize that Sanji goes invisible by shifting his density so without the suit he can still get lighter or heavier which makes him move fast enough to disappear and increase his mass for more explosive output in his attacks ( which is how I’d assume Diable lvl’d up into Ifrit. )
Queen and King was easily folded by Green Bull. Katakuri was slightly stronger than Luffy before wano awakening and haki training. There's no way that they're both stronger than Marco, who has gone toe to toe with every admiral in marineford.i am not saying he will beat them, but the fact that he could hang with them is a feat. He's more on the range of Sabo, kid and law tbh.

So many of similar 'levels' are just too close IMO it comes down to personal preferences or whether you rate offense over defence or haki over DFs.
I did notice you forgot Shiryu in your list and its mental that Dragon was now down at #10 when I think he was your #1 just in 2019 like you said.

I truly believe even if oda directly confirms kaido no 1(which he did multiple time) .shanks fan will still put him above kaido. There is literally no indication anywhere in the manga that shanks is stronger then kaido.

10 min fighting king and queen? you realize that marco fought king and queen BEFORE the rooftop 5 and AFTER the rooftop 5, all the way until Zoro came back to fight king. so that means during the whole rooftop he was fighting (luffy’s G4 time limit happened during the rooftop which takes i think 20-30 min to regain stamina) then luffy vs kaido 1v1, then yamato 1v1. he was either fighting king and or queen during that span, while healing ppl. he fought for a long time
plus he was healing live floor
Also dealed with Yonko Big Mom right before live floor stuff...
Marco fought King and Queen for anywhere from 2-3 hours
Based on the rooftop fight and G4 time limit

@@handsmcgee8331 Sanji didn't just beat queen he low diff. Chopper was stalling queen while Marco was stalling king. Marco wasn't 2v1 for all that long, and when he was in a 2v1 they were both in base maybe full dino.
Once Sanji pulled up queen and king both used hybrid. So both queen and king using hybrid in a 2v1 vs Sanji compared to Marco fighting them in base. That alone scales him higher

Queen wasn’t that impressive bro, at least nowhere near the other 1st commanders in fighting prowess/skill and King had the upper hand on Sanji every time in Wano. 1 power up against a 2nd commander isn’t enough proof. Marco was 1v2ing King & Queen MUCH longer than Sanji while also healing the live floor & dealing with a Yonko prior. Sanji was floored immediately from 2 commanders and he did nothing to King. At least Marco was throwing around both commanders and holding them off for awhile. King was not hybrid against Sanji & Sanji did nothing to him. Marco was much more impressive against 2 commanders in that single chapter alone, y’all trippin.
