Dying to see what you do to patch it up. We got a beautiful job done with patios front and back of the house a few years ago. I cannot fault it, the guy who laid it was an expert but it has that grouting and it will not stay in. I power wash twice a year and have to buy a couple of tubs and push it into the gaps regularly. The holes and gaps just make the whole area look nasty.
I had a patio laid 3 years ago and grouted with a resin filler, it ha never properly set and every time we sweep the patio more comes out. Absolute rubbish.

sadly its the lazy mans method of pointing. resin promises all of the things people seemingly want but doesn’t deliver over time.
