Unfortunately I see a minor flaw here. I can side with Eddie to an extent. It isn’t actually fair that a rich kid, who can just buy a go kart, can try to win one. Contests aren’t supposed to be one sided and someone with a lot of money has a major advantage, way too big of an advantage. Not to mention her attitude as just horrendous. She was shaming Eddie for not being on her level and that is what inspired him to cheat. I think sh also needed to be a taught a lesson. A lesson in being humble. If it wasn’t for Brett winning the prize instead of Paula it would take been a major flaw. But honestly this is just one man’s opinion and the fact is there is a good lesson in here which is basically “cheaters never win”

I do think that Eddie should be given more credit than he deserves. He is right about Paula being able to buy the go kart with her own money because he family is rich. It provides her a huge advantage and I think she should have let Eddie get the go kart. He was doing pretty well following the rules but then after Paula and her huge advantage he started cheating. Not that what Eddie did was right, I’m just saying that Paula could be taught a lesson on being humble and kindness I guess.
