The Europeans just came to NZ, took the land through war and deceit, and left the Maori society CRIPPLED which resulted in them being moved into settlements and ghettos so that the supreme colonisers are able to benefit off the NZ land and retain their wealth which is STILL seen today in New Zealand. All the rich neighborhoods in NZ were mostly wealth generated from the previous generations of the family. They are still wealthy off the actions of the colonising europeans, and the Maori people are still left in ghettos and environments that result in children being brought up in those environments to repeat the same mistakes of their parents.
