  • In June 2016, the BuWizz campaign started on kickstarter, for Christmas the finished #BuWizz should be under the tree. That was the plan. But there were delays and a not always good information policy. But now it’s here.
    The BuWizz is a Bluetooth controller with an integrated lithium polymer battery for the Lego Power Functions System. In the video I review the BuWizz and compare it with #Lego® Technic Power Functions IR and with #SBrick (Plus).

    I found the lego recievers the most powerfull. I use fake once, but they got same amper capabilities, distance is much better. I did make the most fastest car ever (50) with lipo 7.4v and lego fake ir.
    Buwizz and s-brick got other benefits.

    • @lc-jrx
      @lc-jrx  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't know if you really use lego equipment as mentioned fake it (what’s that?). And I doubt that the small lipo can power a car that fast.

      Hi man, dont be in doubt, just visit my channel and see it with your eyes.
      Fake it means AliExpress lego, and not lego original. Lego original recievers is more strong, but less distance for reception. If you swap the copy with those genuine receivers- you will get the same results, but the costs will raise.
      With my last clip i powered 4 buggy motors. But i add 2 motora now and gearee it up to be faster. I should go over 52-55. Ill test it soon.
      The same battery powered my small ripsaw with the 4 motors too.
      Buwizz power is expensive joke !
      I break them speed record in my first attempt.
      My system is way more powerfull then buwizz or others, and it it all from only lego and 1 lipo, no any other equipment.

      Ali express and custom lipo in your videos. It's just another custom soldered attempt.

      @@lc-jrx all lego
      Lipo is not special - it regular 7.4 2s lipo that cost 9$.
      Its more close to lego then buwizz or s-brick. Since i use lego recievers and remote, and they got diferent battery and receiver, plus 3 party remote
      Mine work on 7.4v
      They got 11.1 v that go up to 12.5v.
      What you think is more suitable for lego ?
      7.4 or 11.1?
      Never said its pure lego 100%- but buwizz or s-brick is not 100% lego too

    Does the BuWizz get less and less powerful as the battery runs out? Or does the power always stay the same like in the pf rechargeable battery box

    • @lc-jrx
      @lc-jrx  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should deliver its power linear - so also in the it should be the same voltage.

      Hab erst vor einigen Tagen darüber nachgedacht, dass der gute alte Stoff doch mittlerweile auf TH-cam verfügbar sein müßte :) Es gibt halt nichts besseres als einen gepflegten schwarzen Tanztee.
      Ich überlege mir ein paar BuWizz für Lego Eisenbahn zuzulegen. Hast Du da eine Empfehlung?

    • @lc-jrx
      @lc-jrx  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ich suche auf YT auch immer mal wieder nach den alten Sachen, finde aber immer mal wieder auch neue spannende Songs.
      Was den BuWizz in der Bahn angeht: Was die Kapazität und den Platz angeht: Klar Daumen hoch. Wenn der Preis für dich passt ... Und großer Vorteil: Du kannst nen Shinkansen bauen und erreichst auch dessen echte Geschwindigkeit ;)

    • @lc-jrx
      @lc-jrx  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Die Antwort ist da: Die BuWizz-Macher werden den Sinn des bisher ungenutzten Anschlusses im nächsten Update enthüllen. Bis dahin leider nix neues.

      @christiangoerz8815 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Klingt doch gut. Wenn Du magst, dann mach doch ein Video über die anderen User Interfaces, die Du kurz erwähnst. Ist da eines für eine Bahn dabei? Vielleicht sogar ein Interface, mit dem man auf einen Blick mehrere BuWizzs steuern kann? Ich stelle mir gerade drei parallel fahrende Züge vor - und ich muß mühsam zwischen Bildschirmen hin- und herspringen, um die im Griff zu haben. Das wäre nicht wirklich zielführend :)
      Mir ist schon klar... sowas sollte eigentlich BuWizz selber vorstellen. Aber solange die noch Löten und Bauen...?

    I use high quality eneloop rechargable AA's in standard battery box. They are pretty cheap (8 for about $20) and can be recharged hundreds/thousands of times. My issue with any unit with built in battery is what do you do when battery wears out? Can the battery in this unit be replaced? That's why for now, the sBrick makes more sense for me. However, the compactness of the unit is quite nice. Looks like it's the same size as the AAA battery box that comes with the train sets.

    • @lc-jrx
      @lc-jrx  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good point! The BuWizz guys say, you can send in the brick and they'll replace a worn out battery. Regarding the size: It has the same width and depth like the Lego LiPo or the small battery pack. In height it's a little more compact.

      I think so. As BuWizz also powers the Buggy Motor without problems the XLs should also work fine.
