Days of our Lives stars Arianne Zucker (Nicole) and Greg Vaughan (Eric) chat with Michael Fairman exclusively for the Michael Fairman Channel on the latest developments in the baby switch storyline currently playing out on the Peacock streaming soap opera.
In story, Nicole's baby was taken by Sloan (Jessica Serfaty), who is trying to pass the baby off as her and Eric's adopted son. Sloan, also knows that the baby is Eric and Nicole's biological child. All of this, harkens back to the classic DAYS baby switch storyline where Nicole stole Sami's (Alison Sweeney) baby. Looks like heartbreaking karma has come back to bite Nicole. How will Nicole get her baby back? Stay tuned.
Arianne and Greg have played star-crossed lovers as Nicole and Eric for over a decade, and here they share their thoughts on the story, working together, and much more.
In a very heartfelt moment, Greg opens about the death of his dear friend, and former co-star, Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas, GH, ex-Stefan, DAYS) and what he meant to him, the people in Tyler's life and the soap opera community.

Ari has been an amazing actress in this recent events
Really like Greg and Ari. She is knocking it out the park with these scenes. It’s truly heartbreaking. Can’t wait until Nicole and Eric know the truth. I have to say EJ has been compassionate to Nicole so far.

Eric and Nicole are a power couple and makes the show great for me
Just watching this from a month ago I see such sadness in Ari’s its eyes probably knowing she won’t be able to play Nicole again. it is so funny to see them talk about themselves in the third place. She’s a wonderful actress and even when she does other TV shows she has so much volume in days that it only touches her capability when she does shows for hallmark or lifetime. It will be a very big loss for days if they don’t work her back in and they will lose viewership. I’ve loved that show and watched it since day one but I’ve seen it go downhill compared to all the other shows they spend no money on sets or outside, shooting or anything compared to all the other shows. They said when they got on Peacock, they put the library of older shows on there. They mentioned info for new viewers that they don’t understand because they can’t go back and watch the old shows. I’m very disappointed in days it will determine whether I continue to watch it or not59 years is a lot to give up on, but she is absolutely one of the best
I totally agree with you! Ari is a wonderful actress and has made the show. I'm not sure I will keep watching if shes gone. Ive been watching since day one but if you are going to let her leave, a lot if us will leave in droves!

Not to take away from their looks, Their chemistry was written a long time ago when writers knew how to write. The angst and relief is now missing. But this storyline better end well.

I live in NorCal, too. And have lived in So Cal. If Ari drives home most weekends that is a long drive (across our large state.) I'm surprised she commutes this way. If I was her I would fly in and out of Reno. The weather has been really crazy, too!
I actually like Nicole with EJ.... I hope they stay together regardless of Eric being the baby daddy.... that being said - I HATE this storyline.... it's been done too much - in this soap and in the real world.... and to watch a mother suffer who thinks she's lost her baby forever?! It's too much....

Arrianne Zucker “IS” Nicole Walker….no one else could play this role. Without Arrianne on the show, Days of Our Lives will be unwatchable. Bring Arrianne Zucker back, or Days will no longer be watchable. Fans will protest and it will be the ruin of the show.

Ari is a Critical actress/character on DOOL; unfortunately, the pervert who has caused serious issues with many actresses has created chaos…and Ken Corday should be ashamed of allowing it. Now that Ari seems to be the only one willing to step up and bring it all out via legal means, she may very well receive retribution and “barred” from returning (if she even wanted to). Hopefully SONY will do the right thing and straighten out all of the garbage that has hurt the show we have enjoyed for so many years.

For awhile now DOOL hasn’t been as exciting as it use to be when it was free. But now I have to pay to watch it and it isn’t exciting like it use to be. It seems like when it was free there was so much excitement everyday but nowadays it seems like a show they just drag out everyday.

I for one will not looking @ Days when Nicole and Eric leave the show.Another reason Milinda seem to be getting away with all the wrong she and Sloan has done with baby Jude.Unless days come up with some good story line. I’M done with this show with EJ lying constantly.
