Checking your points to update 3 different areas a little ways in for science, engineering, and combat. Knowing when it may become available so your ready when next prompted point comes up.
too bad Brain walked away from game because of bad reviews he was getting on Steam. well that is what happens when you say a game is finished when it is not. Now it looks like he walked away from game. This game had potential.
Yeah that's the thing about Early Access. If people like it , it may encourage you and you'll get some early income from it. But if they gave you in the reviews then we will discourage you and if you're not one of those developers who says, "then make your own game" but instead get affected by those reviews, then it could lead to discouragement and abandonment instead.
It's kinda sad, this game had a lot of potential but afaik the dev walked away. I've tried playing a few times but it's always had this unfinished vibe. Missing animations, unintuitive systems and controls, etc. If they'd figured out the basics, it would've been great.
when I look at the reviews in Steam, I prefer to keep my hands off it. These range from not buying, it is scam to the fact that nothing works and no servers are active, the game has been in early accses for 6 years and so on.
It looks like most of the recent negative reviews are about the developers leaving early access, while the game still has many bugs. Which is a valid point, and I have made several comments in my videos about this very point. However, I will not say the game has been abandoned until I see something from the developers, stating they will no longer be updating the game, or several months have gone by without any updates. If this is a game breaker for you, I would hold off until we know one way or the other.
@@GamingTruckR I bought this game many years ago and played it early, somewhat enjoying it. It was a buggy mess back then. I picked it up recently and it has gotten A LOT worse, mostly in terms of overly complicated and confusing UI and terrible crafting/balacing. I found nothing enjoyable anymore. Even walking felt terrible. I can therefore confirm that this game is in fact practically abandoned. The dev is simply not able to deliver a good product, even if he tried. It's sad, but true.
I gave it a few chances, in the end i gave up after losing stuff from inventory with saves/loads. This sort of game you NEED to trust your inventory will be safe, thinking you could lose stuff at any second makes you feel like it's not worth playing for long.

Personally i found this to be a much better game concept and play then ICARUS, which for some odd reason twitch and YT seemed to play it more. Everyone game up on this game once they got to a specific point, every time. no one pothered to jump into space and explore other planets, which was part of what made this a much better game then ICARUS. Oh well, it's his game and his company, personally after the out of the blue shut down i can't really trust that he won't do this again if things don't go how he wants, so i won't be investing in his products.
It's better than asking "what's up" to a non-interacting audience. Being loud and obnoxious is quite common on the internet, because it attracts lots of (stupid) children. I don't think those children will much care about this game though. ;-)

SKill points are broken anyways, they will eventually reset and switch you to an engineer no matter yuor choices.

Game is done aka dead in the water. The dev's have already announced that they are moving on and 6 years is enough time to spend on it.

It's better than asking "what's up" to a non-interacting audience. Being loud and obnoxious is quite common on the internet, because it attracts lots of (stupid) children. I don't think those children will much care about this game though. ;-)
