Happy new year!! I'm doing my best to keep 2025 to a year of "using what I have". This sounds more positive and less restrictive than calling it a "no buy" year. Good luck to both of us!! 🪡👠
Happy New Year Andrew 🍾🎉 It was very fun to see your beautiful projects again and to learn about your 2025 plans! I was very excited to hear about your weekly videos plan and really looking forward to those! See you soon 😍🧵🪡
So good to see you Andrew! Wow…….your stitching is incredible…so much accomplished. Loved seeing Saga again! Fruits of Plenty is my someday dream piece…….yours is fabulous……looking forward to seeing more of it in 2025. You are so organized with your plans…..can’t wait to go through 2025 with you! Happy New Year to you and Winston! ❤❤❤❤
Happy New Year to you too! I'm excited for 2025 with you and all my plans haha. SAGA and Fruits of Plenty are incredible pieces :). You'll enjoy it if you decide to stitch it!
My Grandmother and Mother taught me to embroider, and this included cross stitch. They taught many aspects of stitching, making clothes and repairing them, and other household things. I have used shirt tails to remake collars and cuffs. Something you can no longer do, shirts no longer have tails.😮. I have moved back and forth across the various disciplines, and always check before I sew something I have not done for a while. I have a number of cross stitch wips, and some other sewing, like cushion covers and curtains to make. I enjoy your videos and your progress, and I will send a picture of Tap Dancer, as you requested, when I have some significant progress. I did send the red Christmas Elves to you. Happy Stitching 2025.😊
I like your plans for 2025. Excellent! Looking forward to sharing our journey for the new year. I am going to try WIPGO loosely for the first time. So yeah us!!!! See you next time.
The Christmas Wonderland is great! Busy plans for 2025. I kitted up 7 projects today, that I should be able to finish in January. Six of them are small, so they should be quick. I have never kitted up a bunch like that before, but wanted to take advantage of the natural sunshine, while picking linens from my stash. Snow arrives tomorrow.
Thank you! Oh that's awesome! I don't think I've ever kitted up 7 things at once either haha. Sounds like a fun month for you! And you'll have plenty to do during the snow :)
Your plans sound wonderful and your whole approach is inspiring. Happy new year and all the best for 2025. Delighted to hear there will be weekly videos 😃 I bought The Fruits of Plenty yesterday and was thrilled to see your progress 💚 Happy running and stitching!
Happy new year Andrew! Watching you every day last month already let me think you stitched a lot. Now seeing everything in one video you really had a productive month 😮 Keep up the good work and happy stitching
Happy New Year! Congratulations on your wipgo -24 blackout, you had so demanding goals. I could not imagine to accomplish such huge numbers of stiches, I don't even sticht every day. Glad to hear that you'll be on every week. Happy stitching
Happy new year Andrew. I'll be happy to see the Enchantress again in February. My birthday is February, so maybe a fancy lady is in my future. I have several kitted. Talk soon.
Happy New Year! I'm excited to get back to that one too :). Ooh a fancy lady would be a wonderful birthday start! You'll have to let me know which one you choose if you decide to start it!
Happy New Year! Aww thank you, I'm excited too! I hope it will be the balance I need of making progress and having a variety ha. We shall see. Whenever I wear that sweater, I always think how we are like twins haha.
Happy New Year! Love how all your projects are coming together. Saga and Fruits of Plenty are two of my favorites. You are so organized. Like your ideas for the temperature chart. Can't wait to see it as it progresses. Thanks for all your videos they must be a lot of work!
Happy New Year! Thank you so much. I do really enjoy both Saga and Fruits! I'm very excited for 2025. The videos can be a lot of work, but I so enjoy sharing in this hobby with you all and I'm happy to share! :)
Happy New Year Andrew! Congratulations on your finishes. Yay! Winston - "Dad you are talking to other people and not paying attention to me!". I just started WIPGO this year and I think it is going to be fun!
Happy new Year! haha yup that's exactly what Winston was thinking. Yay for doing Wipgo! I find it a fun way to have a challenge and touch different projects!
Happy New Year! Your plans sound amazing! I’m glad you’re giving yourself more flexibility! I’m just working on some sort of system for the year! I really like the temperature stitching! Thank you Andrew!🎉
Happy New Year! I'm glad you're going to give temperature stitching a try. I'm excited to try it out as well. Hopefully this will be a good balance of things for me :)
Your plans are so ambitious. I’ve been watching you since your first video and my favorite thing about you is your amazing progress on projects. Can’t wait for 2025!
Yes they are a bit ambitious ha. Might have to tone them down. But I love stitching and I'll do my best to get them completed ha. Thank you so much for watching from the beginning! Happy new year!
Wonderful video Andrew! What a great December with you 😍 Have an amazing New Year’s Eve and a very Happy New Year! 🥳🥳🥳 Looking forward to see your plans coming to life 😊
Hi hun. Happy New year. Beautiful finishes, wips and fantastic plans. My goals this year is to finish that half marathon 🤞in May. Grt some finishes and stich from stash. 🤞Loved all your videos snd love seeing Winston the cutie. ❤ Take care and look forward to seeing more of your future videos and stitching. Xx
Happy New Year Andrew! Loved spending this evening watching you and hearing about your plans 😊 we definitely have similar ambitions for 2025, which makes sense as we both got deep into stitching in 2024. I’m hoping to make lots of progress on my 34 WIPS that I’m carrying into 2025 and my biggest goal is to not bail on my WIPGO board! I ditched it in like February but have made a very flexible and doable board for 2025. Big congrats on blacking out your board on year 1 🎉 I’m so excited for another year of stitching with you! Cheers to a low buy year and I can’t wait to see your new starts ❤ Until the next stitch … which will be next year 😅
Happy New Year Jennifer! Yes a flexible WIPGO board is key and then just sticking with it! Last year was definitely a fun year of just buying whatever I wanted and starting whatever I wanted ha. This year I hope to be more intentional and stick with stash. I have so many great things already to stitch! Looking forward to another year of stitching with you! :)
Happy New Year! Great video. Love your plan portion. You have inspired me to give temperature stitching a try to compliment my WIPGO stitching (this is my first year). Thanks for being so inspirational.
Happy New Year! Oh awesome! Yeah I'm going to try it too and see how I like it! I think it will be fun to have some variety and not have to choose what I work on haha. You'll have to keep me updated how you're liking it!
Your pieces are amazing. Just a suggestion, find a way to put the name of the reindeer with your pieces so you don’t have to go back and figure out which one is which if you are going to frame them in order. (I just attach a small piece of paper in the upper corner) I saw someone frame them with a name plate. Super cute! Thanks for sharing all your work. Have a happy new year’s looking forward to seeing you in 2025
Thank you so much! Oh that's a great suggestion! Yes I am certain I would have forgotten which deer was which ha. Appreciate it. Happy stitching and happy new year!
Thank you Sarah! I definitely had a good stitchy month ha. They won't all be like that! Happy new year and looking forward to another year of stitching with you!
Andrew your plans for 2025 are inspiring me to get myself in gear and finish some of the many WHIPs that I have. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. May your year be full and joyous.
All of your projects are beautiful. You are an amazing stitcher. I should follow your plan for limiting spending on cross stitch supplies. My goal is to stitch more of the patterns I own and not buy as many next year. I’ve gotten better toward the end of the year. Needlework Market in March could change all that. You never know. Lol Happy New year and I am Looking forward to watching your stitchy progress in 2025.
Thank you so much! haha yes, I hear that. There's so many great patterns, but at the same time I already own so many great patterns! I want to limit my spending and be content with the ones I already love haha. But still allow some flexibility for spending when needed :). You'll have to let me know how it goes for you! Happy stitching!
Happy New Year, looking forward to seeing your progress on your WIPS. Love the Saga piece. I will also have a low buy year since I already have sooooo many patterns to work on.
Happy New Year! Thank you so much, I'm excited for 2025. That's great you'll also be having a low buy. I just have so many wonderful things already I want to stitch!
As a longtime lover of the green, I'm absolutely in awe of your Fruits of Plenty piece. The color is beautiful, and so is the stitching! I'm excited about your WIPGO plans. The ideal of spinning for the number of stitches is very clever. I may have to borrow the idea. Will you be starting a new project for New Year's Eve/Day? I am hoping to start a Steampunk Snowflake design that I've had kitted for a few months. Thank you for the video, and I hope that you have a Happy New Year 🎉
I'm so glad you loved the Fruits of Plenty progress! I do love those greens. Feel free to spin for your stitches each month too! Thought that would be a nice way to mix it up! I have a few things I want to start, but honestly haven't decided what I will do on Jan 1 haha. Time will tell! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Andrew 🥳 Christmas Wonderland is so fun and colorful. 🤩 Donner is so pretty. Inspires me to get going on Snow Queen. All the detail in Santa’s House is very interesting to look at. Getting Ladybug 😍next trip to Sassy Jacks. For your 24 match box stitches have you looked at: Mini Embroidery Hoops Mini Wooden Hoop Ring Bulk Wood Round Crossing Stitch Hoop Small Frame Circle for Christmas Ornaments DIY Handy Sewing Craft(20 Pieces,1.2 x 1 Inch) on Amazon? On a small tree would be adorable. WOW! Nordic Holiday turned out beautiful. The colors are fabulous. 🎉 Hmmm … I need to go back and find where to talk about how you set up your British Back Off plans. 😮 Oh! Your Lighthouse is what inspired me to start my first full coverage which I’d forgotten about. I need to focus on that this year. I purchased Mendocino Twilight and only have a tiny start. WOW Andrew, you are really organized. Will you come spend a week with me in Asheville and help me organize. As a quilter, knitter, cross stitcher, and paper crafter I’m thinking for 2025, give each hobby a week and plan each day in the week. 😳🤪
Aww thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the projects! Sounds like you have some great projects going as well. Congrats on your first full coverage! I love planning so it makes me happy to sort of map it all out :). I love the idea of you giving a week per hobby!
Love your 2025 plans - a bit of everything. I love that you'll have focuses too. I only have dees20stitches' pride SAL for the year. Otherwise I'll stitch whatever strikes my fancy. I'm currently working on one of MFE's designs. You can't go wrong with a Jacob project. Do you have to enter to run London and Boston's races? Kinda like a lottery pick? Have a wonderful New Year. We have the day off so I'll be stitching for sure and enjoying a cup of tea.
Thank you! A bit of everything will help me stay focused but have variety :). You definitely can't go wrong with a Jacob piece. He is an incredible designer. Yes London and Boston is a lottery (or a very expensive price ha). I'll keep trying! Happy stitching and happy new year!
Hi , love watching your you tube !! Check out Kensington Cross Stitch a whip parade & finish parade. Almost the end of her video she used small stitching from 2 advent calanders in 2 ways . I thought of your match box stitching.
Fruits of Plenty is looking so good. Are you going to do the called for center pieces, or are you going to sub out different provided blocks? I liked the bird theme so I did different blocks for both. Have a Happy New Year🎉🎉🎉
Love your videos! I haven't seen all your videos yet so you might have already discussed it. But during the bake-off challenge with the cross stitches, was there one pattern in which you were sad when it got eliminated? Or wish that another one got eliminated instead? I know that when I cross stitch, there are some patterns that I love working on and others that don't bring me as much joy. Hope you have a wonderful New Years and that things will go smoothly with your cross stitching!
Thank you so much! Oh definitely there's ones that I wish had made it longer, but I guess that's part of the game :). I wanted to get more stitches into my full coverage, but that just didn't happen!
Andrew, Please tell me when you stitch beads on your cross stitch, do you use floss or sewing thread? I used thread in the past when beading, but I have also heard others use floss. Happy New Year. Peace and love to you in 2025.
Unfortunately I think Tilton Crafts retired the artist who designed this pattern so it's no longer available :(. I don't think it's been picked up anywhere else that I know of. Sorry!
I enjoyed your wrap up as a reminder of what you accomplished in December. And I love hearing plans - can’t wait to see your 2025 stitches. Happy New Year!
Happy new year!! I'm doing my best to keep 2025 to a year of "using what I have". This sounds more positive and less restrictive than calling it a "no buy" year. Good luck to both of us!! 🪡👠
Happy New Year! I love that way of thinking! I think we can do it. Doesn't mean we are missing out with already so many beautiful things to use!
@@therunnerstitcher exactly!
Me too…I have so much!

I will be subbing them out. Definitely using the Japanese one and I'm not sure yet about the second one.
@therunnerstitcher oh that sounds cool. Can't wait to see it.
Love your Fruits of Plenty! I'm starting that next year, also in green! What color greens are you using?
Thank you! Oh awesome, you're gonna love it! I'm using DMC 320 and 890!
Hey Andrew! Which weekend of Stitch Con are you attending? I will be at weekend B. Happy New Year!
I'll be at weekend A this year! Sorry we won't be there at the same time. Happy New Year!
I like the picture on the wall beside you is it a cross stitch and if so what is the name of the chart
It is! The chart is called Odyssey SAL (although the sal is now done) by Quaternion Creations on etsy. They have amazing patterns!
Andrew, Please tell me when you stitch beads on your cross stitch, do you use floss or sewing thread? I used thread in the past when beading, but I have also heard others use floss. Happy New Year. Peace and love to you in 2025.
Happy New Year! I typically use Nymo thread when doing my beading. I really like it!
Thank you for your time. You are charming.
What was the cost of the Nordic kit?
I honestly can't remember since it was back in February or March :(
Hi Andrew. I am a huge fan of Beyoncé. Can’t find the pattern. Do you have a link pls? Thank you ❤🇧🇪
Unfortunately I think Tilton Crafts retired the artist who designed this pattern so it's no longer available :(. I don't think it's been picked up anywhere else that I know of. Sorry!
I enjoyed your wrap up as a reminder of what you accomplished in December. And I love hearing plans - can’t wait to see your 2025 stitches. Happy New Year!
Thanks Laura! I'm excited for 2025 and another year of stitching with you :). Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
