That mine is super stable been in plenty of time taken quite a few people there we have gone down the ladder with gear there wasn’t any other chutes. There is a wicked sweet mine in Apple Valley between Barstow and your location there. Ever been to the petroglyphs at the north end of camp rock road? Definitely a good photo op, plenty of trails along side of main rd to get a sweet film of the rigs in action on your way to petroglyphs. The mine in apple valley is far more elaborate then this mine in video there is a strong kerosene smell up the chutes gonna need mask
Check out the mines in Wrightwood, just outside Phelan. They go back hundreds of yards with all sorts of different caverns, tunnels and pathways. It's like a 2 mile hike to get to the mine but so worth it. A lot of fun, took my son there a few times
Love the video! I do some amateur mine exploration stuff. Some tips I picked up along the way is to look for air movement underground which is a good sign. Mines can be environmental hazards with some bad gasses and never trust wooden structures underground, even in the desert. Stay true!
More than likely a gold mine. Some lead silver and copper in that area too. There are a couple mines that didn't find any gold but most did. Super rad vid! Props to the editor too

Just take an air tester and you'll be good. Definitely is gases that can kill you in some shafts. Actually looks like someone is working it. That timber around the hole isn't as old as the mine

Like literally days worth of exploring and it's all super close to the Carson City and Reno area. You guys should come check it out!!! I got the flat black class 3 bronco with all the terra stickers and flag from instagram @dgkcritter. Hit me up I'll get all the boys together and we can do a trail run!🤘
