Brava Leona Mitchell. This is good singing. She has the low chest voice, strong middle and without strain in the high register. Trills are excellent. My applause too on this live recording in BA.
She had an extraordinary career singing all over the world in most of the major houses including 18 consecutive seasons at the Metropolitan Opera as a leading soprano. She is now 71, retired from the opera stage, but still sings beautifully in recitals and concerts. Many of her recent performances are here on You Tube.
