Noel was there, at least as a pic of him taken from the dm cover that appears when he's playing digsy's dinner, that's the closest we're ever gonna get to the reunion
@@thestorm5735 Keep the dream alive, man. A reunion is not impossible for Morning Glory 30th. It's not as if Noel's most recent comments have been saying it's never going to happen.
@@grantcossar131 Prat!!! He’s the one collecting the money from Liam performing his Songs that he wrote. Who’s the prat when he is touring with Gem & Chris Sharrock & he is as successful as he’s ever been, it’s him who wrote these songs for Liam to make a living from still. Also another wee note Liam now has 10 people on stage with him at this tour when he said last year why does Noel need all these backing singers & 8 people on stage now Liams doing the exact same thing. It’s Liam who keeps saying something about Noel that makes it impossible for them to have any relationship still. Still slagging him on Soacial media. I love Liam & Noel but Noel is no more a prat than Liam is. I wish they’d both just make up but no chance now. ✌️👍✌️. Calling Noel a prat seems a little crazy when he’s only doing the same as Liam! Playing gigs touring but still writing his songs while Liam sings his.
This concert at Sheffield was absolutely banging, biblical, epic, fantastic. Thank you Liam for such a stupendous set list, your voice was perfect - THE BEST GIG EVER. My favourite song Whatever was played and reminds me of my Dad, who loved this song too (along with all the others of course). I hope you heard this song in heaven Dad xxx
Will he ever play "Hey Now", as long as I know it is the only song from the 90's that everyone's asking him to sing and he has never done it, well that one and "Let's all make believe".
Followed oasis from the very beginning,a lot of people must think wow he sounds amazing after 30 year,it doesn't suprise me one bit, this man is a fuckin genius,LeGend
This has to be the first time I think EVER, that Liam has had to raise a song UP to sing it proper. I actually do the same thing when I play this song, except I play on Capo 2(Key of A), Sounds like they're playing it 1 semitone up here(G#)
I was thinking about this. Been learning some Oasis songs for a covers band and looking at live performances as well as the record. Noel simplifies a lot compared to the record and changes quite a bit. You don't think about it until you come to break it down. Going up in key is really quite unusual. Obvious voice saving being lower 🤔
He’s touring the entire album and b side, this was a separate single but he’s basically doing everything recorded/released in 1994. Even if he doesn’t like the song, he sounds mega on it right here so probs why he threw it in.
I asked him on Twitter in 2018 when he played it for the first time why he did so and he replied! He said he never liked the bass line as it was "too jolly" But they sorted it out and now all was good
@tomben6180 it's funny as I always think of whatever as being the start of the morning glory era as apposed to being the end of the definitely maybe era
Big Liam fan here, and I hate saying this... but something just seems a bit off about these shows, i.e I think he might be lip syncing. Please don't flame me, just seems very possible from what I'm hearing across these shows.
With Liam shouting at points and his voice getting a bit worse with every month passing by in this tour, I believe the possibility of miming is really low. Also, it's a pretty well-known Liam's thing among fans to sing so biblically at the beginning of the tour and sound almost like shite at the end.
Best version of Whatever since 96, sounds incredible with the violinists and Liam's voice on point
Very .6!!!
Best ever version for me
noel's version at barrowlands was something else
@@connor9568 That 1994 acoustic version is special, has that youthful feeling that can't be replicated

I love how Liam never stopped pushing forward. He never gave up. He is the true Rock N Roll Star that is now back on top.
This sounded quite amazing.
His voice sounds great.
It was ok 👍

Super great stage!!! Palm trees and all the original artwork make a real ''Oasis" in this world of drought!
Liam is so back oasis is the best rock band I’ve listened to on my 21 years here
amen
You need some Beatles.
Stone Roses or it never happened
Mesmeric and blown away.
Liam's voice is amazing. The set list is perfect! I wasn't interested in Liam's solo, but I really want to see this live.
his voice just gets better love this tune

Goosebump...
He knocked out of the park with this one. Simply amazing!
This was great to hear Liam signing this song, again.
guys have you heard Liam in the past 3-4 years? He has been singing like this for years!
Compare this to when he sang it in 2018, sounds way better here
All the young blues
Carry the newwwwws
The song that got me into Oasis ❤️
Me too
Oh he's fantastic music always brilliantl
Great! Shoulda done guitar solo ending as they originally did though.
So gutted t have missed this 😢
Secondo me, la migliore interpretazione di Whatever. La voce di Liam è praticamente perfetta.
Impressed by this. Looks like more thought/effort went into this than the last couple of lacklustre oasis tours lol
Don’t usually comment, but god damn this sounds good. Has Noel heard this? Does he understand to leave this one to Liam from now on?
Fantastic! ❤
Sounds great!✌😎
I haven't felt so good since the 90s 😂
The man keeps out-doing himself
He’ll never let you down Liam. He knows what we want and he delivers. Top bloke man.
Incredible
LG was really on form here and loved the instruments used for this live version of the song
Best OASIS song❤️❤️❤️❤️
Man... wish Noel was apart of this whole thing
A PART or APART? You know it makes not so little difference 😅
@@valentinag7481bro your giving off “WeLl AcTuALly” vibes, you know what he meant
‘A PART’ you muppet. Not ‘apart’. They’re two separate words. Clearly. Well done someone else for also pointing this out.

I noticed that too, really interesting. Noel seems to raise the keys quite often nowadays as well.
I think they (Oasis) played Some Might Say two tones higher during a gig at Tokyo circa 2002. You can find it on TH-cam.
