Personally for a regional or higher type of environment I would side skill drains and play something more flexible in the main that isnt dependent on the dice role.
I disagree , skill drain is one of those cards that's actually good going 2nd. Especially in this meta where decks aren't making 3- 4 omni negates turn 1. Also the card is almost a auto win if I open it going 1st.
@@RogueHero yeah I've been siding summon limit for the exact same reason, but I feel like a lot of the upcoming decks have ways of removing it before you activate it going 2nd. Definitely worth playing but for me I'd side it.

Honestly I was mostly testing sinister longyuan vs fire king - it felt like a very difficult card to our since it can handle the field spell and gets a garunix/kirin out of rotation in one turn. Baronne is good but very easy to bait out the negate. I typically make baronne if there is a major choke point that cant deal with an omni negate. Either way GGs - see you at the regional bro

Honestly I think heros have a good chance this format. I was testing and playing and learned plasma and dpe is a really good board against them. Also dark law is really good since the FKs need to hitbthe GY to trigger
@RogueHero that can be true, but as of late I haven't really had issues with consistency with the deck. But I'm sure there will be days where my luck will be terrible and I dre no playable hands
Rogue, keep cooking with fire kings my dude.. this is the first time in years that you have looked very happy playing the game.. no longer stressing about hero.. Hero will always be my fav deck, but until we get new legit support I ain't playing it.. it still has consistency issues and that is where the main problems lie with the deck..
