Beautiful and very objective performance, with a great ossia cadenza, without all those gestures by Lang Lang. Very strong and round sound. Would like to listen more often to this great Cuban Maestro.

Wow, very impressive, especially as it looks as though he played it all with his eyes closed, only looking at the conductor at various key points! Did the greats of this gigantic concerto ever play a live performance completely with their eyes closed - Rachmaninov himself, Horowitz, Van Cliburn, Ashkenazy, Weissenberg, Argerich....? The last 5 are all on TH-cam, played it with their eyes opened! Bravo J. L. Prats, you've got to be up their with the greats!

This is by no means a good performance of this beautiful concerto. At points the orchestra and the piano are not together and the pianist is playing wrong notes all the time because of the closed eyes gimmick. Overall a bad performance.
