There's no tournament in naruto. DBZ is the only shown anime I know that had a long and large tournament. Naruto had the exams in part 1 but that's about it.

over 100 playable characters? there's going to be 4-5 different Naruto and Sasuke's, younger and older versions of some of the characters. akatsuki members before they were with akatsuki. they should stop making a game year after year, should have waited for a next-gen release. i guarantee by november they're going to announce ultimate ninja storm 4 with over 100 playable characters
Some of these games are pretty good, but they keep milking them out like crazy! They need to take their time developing well thought out and interesting gameplay, rather than recycle the same system of fighting (the fighting system is good in this game, but essentially there is no variety except for the new combo system). I'm just waiting for the whole series to end so that when the developers release their final game that concludes everything in an all in one package, I'll just buy that. Better than wasting money on each game as it progresses WITH the story.
All of the attacks look exactly the same, except for the new teamwork jutsu's. Probably not even worth the time. You guys need a new engine, along with better graphics

I remember when I used to play the older Ultimate Ninja games like Naruto Ultimate Ninja 1, 2 and 3...Naruto games have made the biggest progress in terms of anime/manga based games.
As much as I love the storm games, I miss the input you get while in storm 1. Though it is cool that you can team up with ultimate jutsu, guessing it will only be with certain characters though

this looks great. the addition stories and extras that they are adding along side the main story of shipuden is great and all but i can't help but to feel like all these games are the same. It would be better if namco would wait after the naruto manga was finished and then created games around it. as it stands now, every year a new naruto game is release but the story mode ends almost at the same part as the previous. making you feel like you wasted your time playing a clone game that wasn't progressed in it's story or made any real changes to the gameplay. however i do enjoy the effort being put in these games, there is clearly a lot of love being put in these games, i just think they are doing what capcom does and just releasing the same thing with almost no changes.
I wonder what are they gonna do with Kisame's voice... maybe he will be a silent character or something during those animated episodes in the game, so they can use his original voice for the normal fighting character

What is it with anime/anime games adding world tournaments to their story line? Ever since Yu Yu Hakusho or DBZ everyone implemented tournaments now
