very helpful. For some reason I did not realize that the firmware download was a zip file until I watched your video. Had to go back and open the unzipped folder to actually run the update. Small detail that gave me a big headache - now fixed thanks!

The firmware won't download. Canon says I need to get a new printer.. I have the Imageclass MF212w. I can't get pass your video @5:35. None of that comes up for me. It's stuck on download mode usb available

check carefully may be your usb cable or ethernet cable is not good, try to change it or use another computer
