My main suggestion is just fuck around, don’t follow tutorials as much as you can, find your own way of doing things and really make that machine yours. The more you let yourself develop your own way of using your technology, the more of a defined style you get, the more unique your music becomes, and the more fun you have, because if you spend all day chasing someone else’s sounds, you never get your own, and you never see your own work for what it is, just that it’s not someone else’s. Get your own sounds. Own that machine. Make it yours. I believe in you.
