One really easy thing to incorporate into your gameplay is to never hold W when peeking You always want to be clearing angles while strafing left or right. This does two things. One is an immediate benefit and the other is building a good habit. Immediately it will make you a lot harder to hit And getting used to doing that also makes counterstrafing possible (in case you dont know what counterstrafing is, it is just you doing a little strafe to the opposite direction you are moving so that you come to a stop faster, and that is important because your accuracy is really bad while moving so you want all of your rifle shots be fired when stading still, but you dont really need to worry about it too much yet)
Thanks for the tips mate, i'll try and put these into use when I next play. I think i have some kind of seizure every time I come across another player which obviously doesn't help
Hey bro, i'd suggest watching some videos on improving in csgo so you can get a basic understanding of some of the things in this game that you wouldn't even know you don't know. Once you do that I'd download a workshop map called "Crashz's Crosshair Generator" and then finding or making a crosshair that fits your preference. Improving in this game is rewarding even if the game can be frustrating at times so I'd also make a point to remember to have fun. :) HF and GL hope this helps!
Thanks for the tips especially "Crashz's Crosshair Generator" I'll definitely take a look at that. This has to be the most frustrating game I play but I do find it really fun especially when I actually manage to get a couple of kills
Counter strafing, peek advantages and pre aim is key and ofc practice.... put hours in the game and you will get better and better there are lots of workshop maps to practice aim, preaim and sprays
I'll be honest, it's been a very long time since I played these games well (think Halo 2 era... I'm old I know, lol), but one thing I can say that I noticed you doing is not using your vision well sometimes. For example, this corner you move to a couple of times in the video (4:04 and 9:35 are examples) you should be backing or strafing into the corner and looking where your opponents can come from. Also, if you are moving around and have the option to reposition to have something behind you, you should do so. For example, at 2:50 you are headed down the corridor and there's a box to your left. You decide to check behind you (you maybe heard something?) and snap around, but if you'd routed behind the box you would be breaking the sight line of your opponent to you. If you are out in the open, you are as big of a target as you can be. I guess both of these tips are based around vision (yours and your opponents), but hopefully I conveyed them well enough.
That is a very in-depth comment and I agree with what you've said, thank you! Is this your way of subtly saying that you'd absolutely love to play some Counter Strike 2 with me?
@@Klops155 If I ever play it, I'll hit you up, but I haven't played Counterstrike or any other shooters in quite a few years. I play more WoW and the like lately.
I'm 17k Premier, do you want some help - Im not insane, but I'm good XD Basic funamentals will help you alot, When you run out of ammo, switch to pistol instead of turning your back to a player. Try counter strafing more (Using A and D to peek + also to stop you, BEFORE you shoot - this is Huge. Lower your sense and dont be afraid to spray - you can look up spray patters and learn them, or look where the tracers are going and adjust them to hit your enemy

@Klops155 :) just expect there will be an enemy behind any corner and peek with A/D accordingly.
Ull get used to it with hours :)
LCLC IS THE BEST GUY!!!
learning the maps and different smoke/nade lineups are some major factors in getting better
