I bought Not A Perfume by Juliette Has A Gun because of this video... I was a bit worried about its lasting power and its smell but i was pleasantly surprised! It smells green and wooded on me, it makes me feel like a mischievous wood nymph and it doesn't wear off after an hour, i love it. ✨

I have Vetyver, and it’s more fem than Sycamore, Chanel which I also have. Vetyver has a really pretty citrus. Jardin Sur Le Nil is as strong and long lasting, as a perfume. I just got Oud Save the Queen by Atkinsons. It’s not very oudy, but it has an amber (oriental), sweet, dessert spiciness. It smells like something you would wear going to Harrods. I love that it has a European air about it.
Roses Vanille and Juliette has a gun not a perfume are so beautiful. I own them and love them. Delicious Delights introduced me to hermes un jardin der nil. Omg. I went and got Mediterranean and le toit too. Lol. I love them. They are so unlike my normal go to scents.

My go to *Chic* scents are 1) "Sofia", by Sofia Vergara 2) Bath and Body Works "Kalaidascope" (said to be a dupe of Glossier "You") and J by Jennifer Anniston (a beachy-chic , scent, that makes me think of a tan, maybe even tiny bit sunburned on her cheeks and nose, woman, who just spent the entire day at the beach, and is now getting ready to go to dinner, she just stepped out of the shower, with damp, wavy / textured hair, wearing boyfriend jean's and a fresh white cotton t shirt, and bare feet that still have a little sand stuck to them. Slightly /Perfectly / effortlessly DIshevelled, beachy, but still sexy and not 'trying too hard'-chic :)
Like your attitude! EFFORTLESS - the main word. Don’t like when the make up and outfit screams “look at me”. ( there are og course some rare exceptions, but on a daily basis effortless is chic. Not necessary messy .

If you like cigarette type fragrances, try Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre D'Orange. Also, some people get a cigarette vibe with Cafe Tuberosa by Atelier Cologne.

I LOVE Jo Malone’s English Pear & Freesia. It’s a great clean everyday perfume, and it’s a really well balanced floral perfume. It makes me feel super chic when I wear it! I also really love Juliette Has A Gun, specifically Not a Perfume. Soooo sexy!

Tom Fords "Noir" is definately not a chypre. A chypre note is made out of a citrus top note, labdanum in the middle and oakmoss in the base. It's a very specific smell and scent category and "Noir" is definately not a chypre. If you have ever smelled Chloe 'Nomade' or Roberto Cavalli 'Florence', THEN you'll know what a chypre fragrance smells like😊

Have you tried Eau des Merveilles by Hermes? I think it would fit into this category. It's super unisex and salty and sexy.
