I absolutely agree with you about hoping the cards stay at decent prices for a while so people can actually have a chance to purchase them. As a collector who just got back into collecting a few months ago…when do you think it’s best to buy your chase cards after a set release🤔?
I do think just based on the images available (though irl probably reads different) umbreon pops the most with sylveon and leafeon next. A lot of them kind of get lost in their backgrounds which is unfortunate because they all look like with a little more contrast or outlining they would be just as popping. Glaceon does pop from the bg but also is the least busy and kinda boring. I feel like that one could have been set in the ice caves or something with the contrast of the ice on glaceon against the darker cave to parallel leafeon in the forest would have better than the abstract flat patterns. I love art nouveau, it's one of my favorite styles and mucha is my favorite artist. I hope they look better in person.
With the pull rates and the fact that it will be printed throughout the year, I believe the cards will eventually go down. I will be waiting for that time to get my Leafeon because boxes right now is overpriced.
Im a hard-core eevee fan but i sadly have to agree. Is the 3d not fitting the background that turns me off. I wish a single artist or just two had done the eeveelution line for more consistency in artstyle for the set
Yeah I'm convinced they are 3D eevees by CG Works or 5Ban that Pokemon just put over the other artist's work. It's very odd and not enough people are talking about it.
While there are many creators who rip packs, I think this is your niche and I really enjoy it! Keep it up!

I am planning on just getting the eevolution SIRs in japanese, but that umbreon is already $300+ 💀
The Japanese booster box prices are going crazy I really don't think they'll hold as high as they are

While the backgrounds for the Eevee cards are beautiful I don’t really like them because of how it looks like a random background for Eevee.
Yeah the Eevee and the Background feel completely disconnected.
