The only pastors I've seen leave pastoring are those with health issues. I pray he's physically well. If you are well you keep preaching the gospel until you're unable to do so. It's a lifelong mission you're committed to. God bless him whatever the situation ❤
Ed never really believed in retirement. But age will catch up to people. Ed Young and Chuck Swindoll are both giving way to younger guys who will offer a fresh face but will keep the same mission alive. Ed will not stop ministering; he's really just giving his chair to the next generation. Like it or not, it was just time. Thanks, Ed, for so many great years and for serving our Lord in a great way!
I am so sad, I guess I'm being selfish because I hate to see him go no matter what age he is or, what he said about politics. I looked for a preacher for 30 years or more and when I heard him preach I knew it was him. He preached the Bible better than anyone. It's like I waited my whole life for somebody to preach the truth . I feel like I found him and now he is gone! I'm 66 years old and I was learning from him. Ed Young you are the best 😪
I was looking forward to my granddaughter shaking hands at Graduation next! I pray he will hand out certificates and shake the graduates at graduation 2025
This was the preacher that told me not to blame my mistakes on Jesus. Then he told me he was wrong about Jesus not wanting me to move to Texas. This was after I asked for prayers to move back to Georgia since Jesus never wanted me here in the first place. Nice guy. Great liar. Knows how to talk out of both sides of his mouth.
There are some solid preachers coming out of Masters University that would be excellent to replace him. That’s if the congregation can bear clear biblically sound teaching.
