Upstate Brush Control down here in Florida originally from Connecticut I’m going to be renting one of these to help my neighbor. You guys do excellent work but I’m curious where is this job site because it’s beautiful with that lake. It looks like West Virginia or Tennessee
People have no idea how much work it take to clear a lot until they start. I worked for a land developer which sold wooded lots and did the work by hand with chainsaw, brushsaw and a chipper. One job turns into three Sweet. Much better profit margin for you. Nice looking end results as always. I hope they get your mini up and running soon without to big of a bill.
I think these jobs came out great, nice when you can get the neighbor to give you work right after this first job is done. I hope to some day get a similar setup for our company, I will most like get a Takeuchi but I do like that Fecon mulching head
I'm watching all your videos, great! This is a professional job. You are the number one in terms of speed of work, detailed attention, beautiful finish, and good operation of the machine! However, I don't understand English, I don't understand the background or work, so please give me a brief explanation. The staff are all good guys. Please put up a lot of videos that will be beautiful so that you will not get hurt in the future. Thank you!
Nice job there. I was just on I-20 between Florence and Columbia and looks like the state is clearing the median of pine trees in some areas. Had a big excavator and what looked like a dedicated Fecon mulcher clearing 1/4 mile swaths, looked like a hamster shavings parking lot a mile long. If you threw in some "pilgrims" in your narration you'd sound like John Wayne, cool stuff
I had the same cooling problem on my E80. Had to change the radiator as there was stuff that looked like it melted between the fins and would not come out otherwise. Good luck!
@@UpstateBrushControl Andrew Camarata had one over heating and he fixed it with a new head gasket if I recall. Why that would cause it to overheat, I have no idea, not being an engine person. It just seemed weird to me is all.
Kinda surprised you don't run into more yellow jacket nests along the way. I remember my land surveying days in Maryland, and they were all over the place. I'd expect to hit a nest at least once or twice a week, and we were only using hand tool brush axes.
Nice!! Lot easier than way I used to do it, with a chainsaw and a sling blades.. a guy has a machine similar to yours for sale, but I think it is a rt-90???. I haven't had a chance to stop and look at it.
"you're only as good as your last job" comes to mind here. last year you did one lot, following year get asked to do another near by lot and then get asked to do a couple more lots. cant get better than that. word of mouth only gets you repeat work when you do a good or great job, you clearly ain't doing no bad work here bud.
We typically mulch anything 6-8" in diameter or smaller, but we can mulch bigger if we need to. It's not really built for it. The occasional larger tree is okay.
Great videos. Do you guys ever use any weed wacker attachments that are good for thick grass or brush? Any recommendations? I'm a little fed up with just string trimming. Thanks!
Is it just me and my old eyes, or do those tracks on the skidsteer create an optical illusion and appear to go in the wrong direction at the speed he is driving it? ;)
You mind if I ask how do you quote your fee for your jobs/contracts... per acre, per hr, fuel and man hrs? Extra for tree removal? Just wondering we have a spacing and clear cutting outfit in eastern Canada we are by the acre. But it’s all government contracts we clear under the hydro lines. Was thinking of doing some side work.
I have an e32 with the same problem. I'm curious to hear what they say the problem is. I've replaced the thermostat and the temperature sender and still having issues. Did your temperature gauge keep going from hot to cold
Yes, it did. It would pin up really quick out of nowhere, starting first thing in the morning, and it would happen. I will let you know what I find out.
Upstate Brush Control good to know. I’ve been considering getting this kind of operation going in my neck of the woods but the start up cost is a bit crazy. I did a rough estimate and I would probably need 300-400 thousand to get all the proper gear and equipment. Is this too high or too low. I’ve only seen one mulcher go through my area and it was owned by a huge tree company that frequently do work for the power companies. I feel the work is here but the cost has kept everyone out other than big companies. Glad to see it working well for you guys!

Thanks 👍
You All did a very Nice Job Keep up the Good Work!!!
Thank you so much!
That thing is a beast!!
You never know what is in that jungle until you hit it. I expect that is exciting.
Great job. I find watching machines grind up trees relaxing. Before and after, big contrast. The home owners can tell you've done your job
Thank you for watching!

Exactly
Great camera work . Best yet in my opinion.

I hope to get the mini back this week!
My kind of video... an excellent mix of lots of mulching and not too much back drag/finishing......
I think these jobs came out great, nice when you can get the neighbor to give you work right after this first job is done. I hope to some day get a similar setup for our company, I will most like get a Takeuchi but I do like that Fecon mulching head
Great video thanks again
Thanks again!
You guys do good work and I enjoy watching you guys, thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
People know y’all always do a good job

The mechine and Driver very strong work...
I had the same cooling problem on my E80. Had to change the radiator as there was stuff that looked like it melted between the fins and would not come out otherwise. Good luck!
They said it was the thermostat. Waiting to get it back next week.

That thing does a awesome job, nice work
Check the crank pulley they are known to go bad causing overheating
Good to know. I will have them check that.

O it's coming when its starts getting hotter. we see lots of bees and snakes

Another job another clean finish. 💪💪
Good work guy's.
Talk about soul erosion and rainfall. Fire protection . multch cycle.
That's a great machine but it's only as efficient as the operator you seem to know how to use it you and your crew do a great job.

how big of a tree (inches in diameter)
can your Foresr Mulcher take down

HI John! You mentioned that your ASV is at 1500 hours now. How many more hours do you expect to get out of it before perhaps getting another?
Hopefully another 2 or 3,000 more hours.
Great videos. Do you guys ever use any weed wacker attachments that are good for thick grass or brush? Any recommendations? I'm a little fed up with just string trimming.
Thanks!
We mainly use string trimmers and Stihl blades.
Is it just me and my old eyes, or do those tracks on the skidsteer create an optical illusion and appear to go in the wrong direction at the speed he is driving it? ;)

maybe the machine blade should be facing the ground in case you trip and fall into it
I got 30 acres id like to do this to. How much does that cost per acre?

Upstate Brush Control check out this video: th-cam.com/video/0Dv_i2QYDY0/w-d-xo.html
what happens if you get into a bunch of poison ivy or poison oak? are you affected in the cab running the machine?
So why did you not go all the way to the lake?
It is a common area for the neighborhood's HOA.
Thanks
getting paid to do that job was like finding money in the street. That's not work that's FUN
Have you looked into one of the bigger recon carriers for when you have big jobs or does the asv120 handle really good?
It handles nice. I'd need a lot of big jobs to pay for a bigger one.

Mulcher is about $40k, the ASV 120 is around $100k. You would need a truck, a trailer, and some chainsaws and weed eaters and other similar items.
what model of FECON mulcher is this please
Its a bull hog with a dcr drum.
Its a bull hog with a dcr drum
How do you charge for foreatry? Per hr? Sq ft.? Size of trees?
We charge per job, it all depends on the location, type of material, and terrain.
Give us some idea about the pricing
can you share the price for that particular lot?
Could this machine work on mesquite trees?
Yes sir. Both of my nephew manage hunting ranches in southwest Texas. They've done this on both. Mesquite and cedar were taken out on 3 ranches.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I think if they went slower, it would cut them up better 👍🏻
What Fun..
Getting 💰💴💵💶💷 to destroy stuff to oblivion!!

Fan clutch is bad on your cat it’s not spinning fast enough you can fix it yourself.
The fan clutch is fine. It's a hydraulic driven fan.
