Thank you for your comment. We use locally made solvent. It is just like isopropyl alcohol. It is not as aggressive as isopropyl alcohol as it doesn’t affect shellac.
Alhamdulillah bhaijaan, agar aapke pas Seiko watch ki dial ka koi link hai to mehrbani karke bheje, hamne kaafi mashakkat Kari par ab khoj khoj ke hairan ho chuke hai
SEIKO QUARTZ Japan
Excellent × Excellent ✨️ 👍
So satisfying :) you're right to be reminded of the 6309, this was built on the 6309 platform and shares many of its parts.
That makes it little easier to work on.
Good one, nice to see a quartz watch every now and then
Thank you sir
Great video. I’m working on a 7546 right now so this was very helpful. At about 8:00 when you are cleaning the parts, is that alcohol you’re using?

Nice video, and a nice watch too! One question though: Why is there a split stem when you can remove stem and crown the usual way?
It helps to make the crown screw down. Now a days screw down crowns have built in springs.

How do you test for timekeeping after the service? Thanks
What position the crown need to be to remove the stem ?
Crown in position. You have to unscrew the crown first.
