Beckham is making so much progress with his treatments. I would hope since he is making progress and you can see that he is doing so and will continue to do so, that you will really think long and hard about putting him through SDR surgery? He may not, but he could loose the function he does have. Yes he may gain some, but is it worth the risk and long-term affects. You can see that he is making progress with PT. SDR should be the last resort. Coming from some who has spastic Cerebral Palsy like Beckham, I have learned how to use my spasticity and muscle tone to function better on my own, I've had a few surgeries related to my CP, not SDR because they didn't do it when I was Beckham's age. The reality is is that no amount of surgery is going to eliminate the need for therapy and equipment needs Beckham gets older. He will also most likely have some amount of pain and frustration, but he will take it in in stride as he ALWAYS does!

Beckham has been challenged so much and is handling it like a champ. A toddler is classified as such up to age 3. Beckham is a pre schooler! He looks like a pre schooler and is growing up fast!

With nothing but love, Beckham is not a toddler- he's four! (Of course he will always be your baby though) Infantilisation of disabled children and adults is a big problem that we have to adress and it starts in the disabled community and with parents and caregivers of disabled children ❤

Aww he is doing good. Getting straighter in the bungee thing and starting to do walking motion in the walker. It is all muscle memory foundation really. Do they have the treasmill with harness thing where a therapist on eacg leg does walking motion to help them learn?
His eyes maybe says i am tired but i do what i can he soooooooo amazing i look so long and i don't know about beckhams pain but i think a bit i can feel😢😢😢😮 he so cool i think you so proud of Beckham ❤❤❤❤❤❤
