That citroen should help remove the severely overpriced dacia spring (dongfeng nanobox rebranded) from the european market. because is being sold at similar price but is a gigantic difference of tech. The spring is barely above the quadricycle segment.
@@roberts.wilson1848i have a spring and in Italy Is perfect for Daily trip and city drive. Se have a lot of small Road, Is very basic inside and too expensive now
So, to sum up: The Honda e:Hy1 costs more than a Model 3, consumes about 50% more and charges half as fast. Good job. Disclaimer: After 6 years of driving EVs exclusively, we meanwhile have our first Tesla (MY LR). I've gotten used to the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of that car. In km/h, the Honda charges only slightly faster than our i3S 120Ah.
Not surprised as this car was developed several years ago in China with Japanese input for the Chinese market, it was only brought to Europe to fill the gap (avg fleet co2, legislation of EV minimum share of all cars sold per brand) before the dedicated EV architecture came in 2025. Not to mention the current gen HR-V it is based on is already a generation behind in platform as it didn't make it for the modular HA platform, which would have improved NVH significantly (something you noted in your range test).
Sadly I don't have high hopes for Honda surviving the transition but at least they have realised they are in trouble now. I expect they will be absorbed by Sony and we'll have Sony EVs made by Honda interior designers.
I'm stil confused when you say flat curve for ID3. For me it's a school book example of a linear curve from 20% to 70%. And Atto looks flat from 10% to 64% and then flat two more times.
I have hyundai kona 64kwh that is little slower than niro, after a lot of fast charge the soh of the car is very high and the battery is in good condition (some people drove 300.000km ). For me the DC speed of the kona is okay, honda could do better but for me is okay. The important thing is have a good soh after many years and charge. I use dc when i go far, during holiday i have time. maybe because i'm italian and in italy we take everything with calm and easy
Can you assist BYD owners with getting ABRP the information they require in order to add the Atto 3 to the ABRP list of vehicles. They need "codes". I am using OBDLINK LX device but it's useless for live charge state in ABRP which would make it worth using.
Wonder... would the curve be even flatter at high SOC if you used a 50kW charger? And how much longer would it take? Thinking maybe it is also better for the battery to only charge on 50kW charger?
Not really a lot between them all. Just the VW that charges quicker initially. Out of note, it seems a 70Kw + charger is a waste of time for most of these EVs?
The Honda E was at least a cool lifestyle vehicle. This E:whatever ist just a piece of cheap bought in crap platform not worthy the Honda Name. Disgusting for me as a real Honda fan.
This is made by Honda, no GM involvement… the Prologue and ZDX are the Honda EVs that ride on GM Ultium, and will probably be vastly better EVs than this e:NY1.
eC3 in town 🤟

History repeats itself. I think that was the same case with the Honda e when it came out. @@LittleSpot
And I still would take the e:NY1 over that American piece of trash.

Keep going Honda! Just Follow how Hyundai did until today.
Does Atto 3 battery have a different chemistry - battery voltage drops at 2:44, 4:06 and 5:55.
LFP in the Atto vs Li-ion in the others.
I'd call the Honda "anyone" or "enyone". Seems to be some kind of letter play to make it possible to read as such.
What about Nissan e-4orce = e-fourorce?
@@bjornnyland Simply "eforce" I guess...

The Honda has GM battery architecture. That would explain it.
