- Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my channel, and if you are new here, I am so happy to have you!
This series is something I have been thinking about doing for a while now. Without a doubt, I questions I receive most often are in regards to digital crafting and how I encorporate it into traditional paper crafting. In this series we will discuss what you need to get started, my fav resources for SVG files and patterns, how I use them and so much more. At the end of the series we will use everything we learned to complete a project from start to finish.

Happy to see you doing this series! I've been wanting to use my Cricut more often for paper crafting.
Hope you enjoy it!
Finally!!! I have been searching forever for tutorials on this . I mainly am wanting to learn how to print collections off of ac digitals and cut them on my Cricut. I’m so excited . Hopefully you cover that! Thank you so very very much!
You are so welcome!
This is fabulous!!! Thank you thank you!!
You are so welcome!
Excited for this series. I have also started with digital collections as well
It’s just so dang affordable!
Thank you so much !!! I do not really understand digital designs! Looking forward to learning from you!
I’m happy to have you follow along! There are so many advantages to adding digital elements to your paper crafting. And I was pretty lost on getting started. I hope this helps!
Thank you so much for doing this. I’ve wanted to use digital papers but need to know more!
You are so welcome!
Great vid!! So excited for more. I totally agree with you. Love collections but I have so much left over. When I print digital, it’s what I want, I don’t have to search my stash for what I need, which saves me time.
I have Creative Fabrica & do get overwhelmed & not great at “searching” so look forward to tips with this. I have Cricut Access and I LOVE IT!
I’m familiar with ACdigitals but not the echo park one so Thank you!! and the other svg you shared. 🥰🥰
At the beginning of each year I do a massive purge of my craft room and was really disappointed by how much money I was wasting on supplies, especially paper. There was just so much I wasn’t using! I am so much more thoughtful on what I spend now, especially when I know I can just print out what I need. And yes- Creative Fabrica is massive! But I have some tips for you 😉 Happy to have you follow along!
Thank you for doing this ❤ Etsy also has great digital kits!
Yes they do! I could’ve sat there and talked about resources for 2 hours, but no one wants to hear me drone on for hours lol. I added a couple more in the description box because I needed them to be out there lol
Glad your doing this Jen, I'm up to my ears in craft dies and find it tedious to store them, I go a cricut 2 years ago and made the decision to use it more bc of storing issues! I personally LOVE design space and find that I can use that to make a project custom. However, on printing, I am a hardcore MH paper buyer, and also LOVE crate paper. I have enough supplies to last me 20 yrs! LOL!! I need to use it more...but the issue for me is the price of ink and finding matte paper...so your tips have helped. TFS I will be following along!!! Hugs ps Jen just getting back into papercrafting after being MIA... I've been going through cancer treatment and finally finished ! So yay for me!!!
Yay!!!!! I’m so glad you beat it🎉🎉🎉 and happy to have you back! And I hear you, I love MH and Crate Paper! I just print my own from AC Digitals. I love how j can customize the size of the ephemera to the project I am doing.
So GRATEFUL for this series!! ❤thank you!!
You are so welcome! I remember when I started out there was just so many questions I had lol
BRAVO!!! I've been waiting for this! I hope you get into "Color Matching" for specific collections....every collection prints a little bit off depending on your printer and ink. BTW, Cricut design space is my thorn in the lion's paw.... I can run around Silhouette with no prob :) Looking forward to getting more comfortable with Cricut..
I have a feeling if I started with silhouette I would feel differently, but DS is just second nature at this point and I actually have to think about what I’m doing in silhouette software ( and there’s usually some cursing if we’re being honest lol)
Been waiting for this!! So excited!!! Thank you!
Hope you like it!
Excited to find your channel, just subscribed. Looking forward to the digital series, I just got a Cricut JoyXtra and need to learn what I can do with it!
Awesome! Thank you! I’m so happy to have you follow along!
Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much for this series!

Jenn Thank you for sharing your creative process. Looking forward for this series.❤❤❤
Yay!!! I’m so happy to have you come along!
Great series topic! I'm a hybrid crafter too and I'm interested I knowing how you keep track of the collections you've downloaded. Thanks!
That's a great idea! I will definitely address that!
Thank you! Thank you for this series! This is great! So nice of you to do this and I truly appreciate it!❣
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much Jenn. I’m so appreciative of you doing this series. It really comes in handy. ❤❤❤
Yes!!!! We all have to start somewhere! And I remember being so frustrated when I started out.
Awesome Jenn. I’ll be watching. I love digital 💕💕 and learning more will be great .
Yay!!! I just say enough about the benefits of adding digital elements to traditional paper crafting!
Hi, sweetie 🥰 Wow, it sounds exciting 😜 So happy for you😁. Looking forward to this series 🤗 TFS🙏 Big hugs to you❤🤗
Yay! Happy to have you come along with me!
❤❤❤
Yay! I hope this helps! Part 2 is up now too!
Looking forward to this series - you have inspired me to use more digitals, I can't wait to learn some of your tricks and tips. Going to order Koala paper now....lol !
I'm so glad! And you won’t be disappointed with the Koala! Stated with the double sided matte, you’ll love it!
@@jenncascell - I ordered the double sided matte and it was 1 day delivery. I have the same printer you use...love it and the insta ink :) I happen to be working with a digital collection so I reprinted the word strips on the Koala and was amazed at the increased clarity vs what I printed yesterday on the Neenah paper ! I'm definitely hooked. Thank you for the recommendation 😊
Perfect! Koala is the best!
Looking forward to this series. I have the yearly Creative Fabrica Subscription but they have to much stuff sometimes I get overwhelmed. It will be nice if you can give me any advice on how to search. Thanks in advance.
I totally agree!
I'm completely digital. I have one paper pack left and I'm not looking back. Me and my Silhouette. I have 2 die cut machines (Grand Calibur and Bria mini) and dies which I will still use. I have an HP printer but I'm grandfathered in at the original no cost lifetime ink. For me it was necessary to go digital because I live in a studio apartment so storage was an issue. I use Creative Fabrica.
Yes!!! Space is a huge issue for sure! I just love hybrid projects too! Best of both worlds!
? Jenn can you maybe go over Creative Fabric on how to search from digital papers by color, Dp by theme, svg by theme any tricks to cut down the amount of time doing searches.
TIA
Will do!
Hi Jen, I have a question! When you you use the Kaola matte paper vs the bus Neenah ream vs the Kaola photo paper? Thank you!
That’s a great question! I will address it in my next video!
TFS this information. I’m a newbie and have been so nervous to try digital printing but like you mentioned, I have tons of unused paper pads. Question does the hp printer have the option to print 12x12 sheets?
No, it does not have 12x12 capabilities. Personally I don’t frequently use 12x12 so it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I have a tendency to layer cardstock with patterned paper in my projects, so it rarely comes up with me having a need for it. Plus I always have a variety of 12x12 cardstock on hand to sub in.
I can’t recommend creative fabrica enough to creators! Buy the yearly when it’s on sale
You will not regret it
Yes!!!!🙌 so worth it!
Jenn, will part 2 be coming soon?
Yes! Monday!
@@jenncascell Woohoo! Can’t wait!
Make that Tuesday lol. It was a crazy morning
@@jenncascell Hope the day calmed down! Thanks for the update! 💛
