Check callaway preowned. For women a high lofted fairway 7-11 wood (like an xr, hot, hot2, cobra biocell, f6-7, etc), an 8 iron (like a big Bertha hollow body iron 2014+ year), a sand wedge, and a putter is all you need to start. Make sure they’re ladies light clubs. If you are up for building clubs you can find shafts and heads separately and epoxy them.
Absolutely. A good golfer can play with objectively bad clubs. Though I will admit, I gained 10 strokes after buying proper Driver/Irons and getting fitted for them (Mizuno ST190 Driver/3 Wood and TaylorMade RBZ Tour irons). All slightly used, in total spent around 600$, another 350$ getting them fitted for me. And my next 5 games were all around 10 strokes less. I am a terrible golfer, and on playing 9 holes, usually getting 53-56 strokes. Now im shooting in the mid 40s, having changed nothing. Just that the clubs are fit for my height and swing. I am much more consistent and right where I want to be for just playing for fun on the weekends.

This reminds me something of an old GM_golf/Rick Shiels video, but moved up, and I love it, can't wait to see the finale. More of this.
Quality of this video is one of the best ive seen. Great transitions and graphics and voiceovers. Keep it up
That is awesome guys. What a great thing to do. Calvin was truly surprised.
The Soulja boy bits with Grant were amazing! Loved the edit on this one
Guys this is such a well crafted video. Excellent job!
One of the best videos I’ve watched in a while!
I was going to say Y’all should’ve done 2nd swing or rock bottom golf to get your clubs but apparently golf galaxy is the place to get used clubs. Who knew? Love this vid fellas. Great stuff.
My set last year was about $400 actually. TaylorMade R7: $30
Callaway Fusion 3 Hybrid: $20
Callaway X Tour 4-PW: $150
Callaway X Tour Wedges (52, 56, 60): $60
TaylorMade Monte Carlo Putter: $70
Callaway Supersoft: $25
Footjoy Weathersoft Glove: $15
Total: $370
(Mostly Ebay/FB Marketplace)
You can definitely golf cheap if you look appropriately
Gotta have the supersofts
Grant saying duuude and the soulja boy crank that snippet killed me 😭👌🏽 quality content as always boys, great vid!
13:30 bleeps out the less vulgar word and doesn’t bleep out fuc* 😂😂😂
This is the best approach for new golfers. Minimal investment, good used clubs.
Another amazing video guys, keep them coming. I live in southern California and no way you find clubs that cheap at a golf shop, no way. I wish that was possible.
Y’all got me pumped, I’m about to save up and start going to golf stores and getting these nice clubs for cheap!!!
Check out global golf too for cheap pre owned stuff. It’s great!
I use a older PING putter and love it. It was cool that you two could actually spend as little as you did and still get out their.
That was awesome with the iron giveaway Calvin’s a beast y’all chose a genuine fan
Loved the Instant karma... "Gotta think about this as average guy speed" almost hurts ankle... so glad you didn't love the video and all of your work I'm in nor cal SF loved the Long Drive Series. Oh and have played at Turlock CC (friend is a member)so fantastic to come all the way out to play with there top Jr player blanking on his name. Was there right before you filmed and played those bad greens. I have been back and they are back to there tip top shape!! Take care !!
Calvin is such a lad. I love how you guys made his year in a short moment
i love this style of vloggy vids but then going to golf, love seeing you guys on a daily life great vid
I think the hardest part for me as someone who was recently buying used clubs and starting out on golf from a point with very little knowledge was what used clubs were good, and what would be a good fit for me.
Also kinda insane you were within a dollar of each other
18:54 - 🎵Sit for me, sit for me, sit for me oh. oh.
Never seen a green do the things you do before.🎶
The entire Good Good crew should do this challenge! This was a killer video.
Bought my SLDR driver second hand. Love it to bits, absolutely stripe the ball but punished on the miss hits. Love the content guys, keep it up
Really enjoyed this video, guys! I haven't been in Frank's Golf Shop, but I'm 99% sure that's where you weren't allowed to film based on what I've heard about the place lol. Really sad to see Painted Hills in such bad shape. It's really gone downhill in the last few years since I played it last. Another GreatLife course closure coming soon it looks like, unfortunately.
I just got into the game, I love the idea! My only thing is for clubs y’all know what to look for. Coming in I just asked what was the best option to a salesman and they pointed at a 1000$ set. Just wish it was easier to decide what you need.
