nukes... yeah.... those nukes wouldnt deserve their name for balancing reasons, since true nukes would obliterate any target on direkt contact or at least in the inside of the fireball. hence the idea, even though it sounds cool and exiting, is stupid and the nukes unnecessary.
@@FleetAdmiralVildstar i mean nuke would just be a big ball of heat soooo, one could implement them with the armor burn feature and some he damage so they can be used for clearing missle and mine swarms as well as supporting offensives against large targets, but yea they arent really the be all end all in space that one would expect them to be.
@@zeash482 So nukes are actually banned from the in game lore, though an agreement called S.T.A.B.L.E I can’t recall what is stands for though and they’re just removed the lore documents from public access while they work on implementing a lore dossier of sorts in the game.
Nukes would be kinda boring one lucky missile gets close and takes out a flotilla on its own. In lore you could assume they exist but aren't used kind of like how in WW2 everyone had chemical weapons and no one used them even as their nations were being over run
HOT launch is too much of a liability, I stopped using it for my AMMs. It really only works when used with the rolloff launchers, and even then mostly just for S3s.
Its been on my radar for a while. Ive updated the first two. Have been aiming to update the early ones and get a new one out just havent got there yet.
Ive yet to see mines actually do any damage in the game that being said mines forcing you to waste time and avoid the area is kind of half the purpose of mines
Now that you mention it, I havent either. Though taking time to clear mines is a great delaying tactic. I wonder if it is the positioning of mines on the cap points.
@@JDeeGaming Putting them at and around cap points seems to be best I have watched people put them in places where they think the enemy is going to go and either they are just missed or easily found and destroyed but near a cap is great when one or two ships show up late game and realise they need to spend an extra 5 or so min going around the mines that could be the difference that scores the victory for your team
@@Ghastly_Grinner Have you seen people mix types of mines as opposed to just using one? I feel that could be a good approach though havent tried it myself.
@@JDeeGaming Problem is, the most common mine is from mine containers and there is just 1 type. Sending ships out to minelay is quite dangerous if not suicidal. Shuttles has no storage for them, so you are probably limited to tugboats and they are quite fragile and still expensive..
I have seen mines kill bb's and units. But just putting them in the open on a point is just dumb, why people keep dropping 100p worth of mines on a cap is beyond me. Best place is in corners or where people move, we all know pillar and where people moves.
A friend of mine made extremely cheap kinetic missiles with minimal tracking just to saturate point defenses.
He called them Five Dollar Footlongs.
Very impressed with the demeanor of the PonyHair player. Super chill, would play a game with without a second thought. 👍
Enemy team made the correct tactical decision to play the OSP.
imagine my surprise that another OSP spam secures a win against an alliance fleet
21:25 holy mother of fk....
It was at this point I knew...I was next
this game needs NUKES!
Also I saw the OSP shoot lifeboats lol

There is a mod I believe.

How do you find cold launch AMMs? Do you go for range/damage over manoeuvrability?
In what way ? I know in real life hot launch kinda sucks if the missile fails it will damage the ship
Great video Jdee. Any thoughts on doing some updated tutorial videos for newbies?

Oh man, I hate the missiles in the game
