Michele, I picked up a few products from this line while traveling in Europe last week. I got one matte and one satin, and so far the matte has been my favorite, despite the fact that I typically don't like matte lipsticks. It is very creamy and long-wearing, and not at all drying. The Rose Boise is a great neutral rose.
Seen Rich's today. He had 5 I think, both of you got the orange & looks beautiful on you. I don't think I can pull it off not counting couldn't afford it.
I ordered the Beige Naturel, because the shade just spoke to me. I can't wait to get it! The packaging is just gorgeous. However, I was very disappointed to note that the lipstick cases that Hermes is coming out with were nowhere to be seen on the website. The only accessory they offer with the lipstick is the mirror, and I'm not shelling out hundreds of dollars for a mirror when I have a mirror in every one of my compacts.
Ahh of course the case is designed by Pierre Hardy! At first glance The packaging reminded me of a pair of platform Hardy’s I own. 33 looks stunning on you! This woman I met in St Barths wore this punchy Orange color on her lips and would come out of the ocean with it still on. I swear i only wore spf and a red matte lip all summer long. Nothing better than a bronzed skin and a punchy lip color. She saw me apply my lipstick after I finished lunch on the patio and we started chatting and she pulled out a Mac liner in ‘what a blast’. I think that would make a beautiful combination for a bit of definition with 33.
I picked up 4 tubes in the Madison Avenue NYC location on the launch day. To say they they were disorganized was a slight understatement. They had a small podium with one display and women were swarming. The sales people were flustered and reliably snooty (no surprise there). Also disorganized at the register area as well to pay. I have to say in hindsight I wish I had purchased online sans the attitude! The packaging and colors are beautiful though so if they’re going to expand into beauty they’ll need to be a bit more thoughtful about how they go about it as a high end luxury house.
This orange lipstick is so stunning that I ordered it on Friday and voila, I hold in my hands on Tuesday. It is really a true orange and I think it looks just great on my lips. For now this is my favorite lipstick and I think you can buy refills. Here in Germany I payed 62 Euros and this is the end price. No extra costs with shipping or taxes. What to do when you only can leave the apartment to go to work and grocery shopping? Order an expensive lipstick 😉💄

The poppy one is AMAZING! You need to get it. It’s more of a lip balm though. Very sheer but super moistutizing. That one is not limited.
