How sad that he doesn’t have fondness for music or opera or singing but I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and I respect that. In this film at least, one can see how Maria Callas was a very good actress indeed and she didn’t need her singing training to prove it - though she did prove to opera fans that opera itself does not have to be overdramatic with overacting or no acting at all. Along with healthy vocal technique, it is fundamental. Some will disagree but that’s to their loss.
