Is there a way to safely un-weld the IC from the new screen? The idea of grinding scares me more than heating it up :\ Also it would be quite nice to weld it back on the old screen to retain it's functionality. Or maybe programmators are finally able to deal with that?)
Try stencil for iPhone 8, as we did. it is here if you need anew one :www.cinomall.com/collections/soldering-tools/products/iphone-bga-stencils-for-iphone-8-8-plus-x
@@CINOTechnology im going to have to disagree...even if its "uneven" as long as the contact is made and secured as close to OEM....then it will be fine. The grinding process is not needed
NO, that requires a JC programmer for the Truetone. Also the face ID is based off the Front Camera. if that Front camera is damaged, or replaced, you lose face ID
@@amalekited It does, proceed with caution. I also can't guarantee it's the reason why our 11 repairs don't have this message. Apparently there are now replacement screens that won't trigger this. Can you tell from where REWA copied this method? If someone try to fix charging fault by replacing the TriStar IC then what would you say?.... "Oh copied from REWA".
How do you line up the Touch IC pins 100% perfectly with the boning pad? It seems like there is very little room for error?
really love all your jobs, lots of knowledge

Hello Cino , plz plz plz, tell me which stencil you used for reballing? i tryed iphone 5 - iphone x stencil. no one is compatible with the chip
Try stencil for iPhone 8, as we did. it is here if you need anew one :www.cinomall.com/collections/soldering-tools/products/iphone-bga-stencils-for-iphone-8-8-plus-x
Will they make aftermarket screen the same as OEM so this method can work with aftermarket screen? Maybe without the chip.
It only works on OEM screens
Check the signal of AP_PS_HOLD = 1.8V Bro what is this mean please reply
This is the Supply voltage/command to pm ic from AP to stay on in working mode.
Other wise the power rails may behave with a heavy fluctuations
Thank you for your reply
Thanks dude I subbed to your channel too I’ll watch and learn from both of you
Can we just remove the touch ic without grinding? And replace it with the original touch ic
Cannot do that, since the bonding pad of touch IC will become uneven after heating up, so the grinding is necessary.
@@CINOTechnology ah i see, btw how do we know we grind enough so we dont accidentally tear the cable? Any tips

How did you know if the true tone is not normal? I did not notice the change.
It is about how to remove the warning message, not ture tone
How about condition after 1 weeks after modify chip on LCD ?
The same as when fixed.
Hello , ita a perfect video ! I want to ask one think , I need grinder ! How I can buy it
Check here: www.cinomall.com/products/oca-removal-grinding-tool
I heard if we do not fix it, after 4-5 days the sign disappears, and only stays in settings, but later it goes away from there also. Is that true?
no. After one week the notification is still in settings
No, it would not goes away
Big brain. Just did one today.

This is done by replacing the original IC with the first screen.
Halo Cino team. very good job. Respekt. i have one quastion. wich model your grinding machine?. thanks.
It is a portable handheld grinding tool.
Only works on original display or also works with Chinese not even oled?

@@CINOTechnology ok thanks
Swipe left on main screen and the message is gone
customers barely able to pay for lcd itself lol and add this to it , no way they pay for it
The compulsive warning is quite unbecoming

Thank you
NO, that requires a JC programmer for the Truetone. Also the face ID is based off the Front Camera. if that Front camera is damaged, or replaced, you lose face ID
Very useful channel 👍
: )
be careful from overheating backlight.
How much it cost to fix this way ???
Well, different place got different price
Thank you 🙏🏻
Or simply use a screen programmer
Cannot find one that works for this
@@CINOTechnology My JCID seems to fix this, but I have no idea how it's doing it, is it because we hotswap the screens?

Just copied Rewa tech
Can you tell from where REWA copied this method? If someone try to fix charging fault by replacing the TriStar IC then what would you say?.... "Oh copied from REWA".
Maybe they are faster, but CINO have done it better~CINO Masters have THE skills and do not need to copy
Our method is different from Rewa
Why grind the IC instead of remove with heat?
Both works
