It is weird to read these comments on the Zoom Fly 5, my wife and I are both currently enjoying our pairs, I use them for long runs on the road only. Currently marathon training and have taken the Zoom Fly 5 up to 18 miles with no issues and they feel better than my old Vaporfly 2s
Do you think it’s better going for the Boston 11 over the 12? I did hear that the 11 was a bit firm and the 12 has a midsole upgrade
12 is much better, hugee upgrade
the boston 11 needs 100km to break in, and more if you are lightweight. Then they are amazing and last forever. But the 12 are better

Zoomfly 5 need to wear often and if you have shoe rotation, the zoomfly 5 will begin stiff after a week or 2 week didn't wear.
I have a confession, I just walk in my Zoom Fly 5 and in my Streakfly. They are amazing for that, but I just couldn't let go of my Alphafly 1 even for a single ride. Well, today I tried the Zoom Fly 5. While it is amazing for walking around (I have wider feet), it had 0 rebound compared to the Alphafly. Felt so stiff. I guess I'll keep it as an everyday shoe.
TBF nothing compares to the alphafly for bounce

Without watching the video- the Adidas - hands down, round the block and hands down again (I own both and have barely worn the Nikes as I end up hurting when I have worn them)
The Adidas would have to be epic level bad to lose this. The zoom fly 5 is the worst shoe I ever had.
Edit....maybe I didn't break them in long enough. They were causing me to pronate for some reason terribly. I've never had that problem before. I don't think I could have ran in them long enough to break them in if I think about it.

I have about 140 kms on my Zoom Fly 5 and it is objectively one of the worst shoes i ve had so far. The worst tho has to be the Adizero SL. Looking to get the Boston soon, let’s see.
