I'm just now starting to restore mine, luckily it has very little rust and only 74k on the odometer. Its is white, which I plan on keeping the color the same. Its a 4 door with barn doors and a tropical roof.
Love that Restoration. GR8 video. Like & Subscribe. I would be inclined to use undercoat epoxy on frame & body. Definitely got your G-wagon sparkling. NICE.

Beautiful restoration, I've only ever driven Land Rovers but have to admit to having a soft spot for the G Wagen.

That 5 litre diesel engine is probably the best and most enduring engine ever build....
Its a 3L 5cylinder engine but yes you are right about the rest
My 1985 has GD290 engine right now,it has been great.
