Honestly it was the same for me. I remember hearing them over 10 years ago and not liking them. This year I am just now discovering their music and how amazing they actually are
Bring Me The Horizon - It Never Ends live at the Royal Albert Hall. It was a truly amazing concert played for free by all those involved in aid of children's cancer.
Doomed (live at the royal albert hall) is a must ;) My absolute favorite song from them is Ludens, if you want to try something old then maybe Crucify Me, or if you're feeling brave try Pray For Plagues :D
The metal gear solid link is actually true, Oli is a self proclaimed massive fan of Kojima and his works. BMTH have a song "Ludens" that they made for the Kojima game Death Stranding
the album of shadow moses, sempiternal, would probably be classified as post hardcore. nowadays they switch genres quite a bit, from album to album and from song to song, but way more poppy.
The good thing about BMTH is that every song has it's own sound in a way. The past years they tried to do something else, which made many fans upset because for them it was to "soft". They just make what they wanna do and don't want to stick to one sound. You should definitely check out the music video of "Obey" featuring YUNGBLUD. It's such a great feature and such a great song, which is quite new and is a little more heavy than the past few years :) And you check out some classics like "Can you feel my heart" live at the Royal Albert Hall with Orchestra etc.!
Nice pick. _"Shadow Moses"_ is my favorite track off of their 2013 _Sempiternal_ album. They also did a song for _Hideo Kojima's_ 2019 game _Death Stranding_ titled _"Ludens"_ . You should check out their live performance of it from last year when they opened for BABYMETAL in Japan: Bring Me The Horizon - _Ludens_ : Live in Tokyo th-cam.com/video/XKJiOhoOJvY/w-d-xo.html
Same dude, I hear one song from a band and decide (wrongly) that it’s not for me. That’s where lockdowns and favourite reactors come in. I’ve picked up on so many bands I wouldn’t have given the time of day to so thanks for that. Downside is my phone is rapidly filling up with new music, I bought a decent (expensive) set of headphones to listen to all this new music, and damn dude, crossing the road now is way more interesting 😂🎶🚗🤯🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yeah it's so easy to make a judgement call in a few seconds. You never know what you're missing out on. Glad I decided to give these guys a chance. Hahaha yes I've lost count of the amount times I've walked into trouble because I was too lost in my headphones. Is a small price to pay for constant healing powers of music wherever you go! 😂😂😂
"This IS SEMPITERNAL!!!" 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
