this movie deserves more recognition. it was so different, so genius. it made me love the beatles songs, and honestly, some of these covers are better than the OGs for me. the cast, the art, I love how weird this movie felt. it takes a genius, she really is one. ugh, i wish they could talk about this movie more, i wish theyd do a reunion with the whole cast!!!!
This remains one of my all-time favorite films across all genres to date. There's so much attention to detail on the director's end. And then to have a team bring it to execution so cohesively -- just an enjoyable experience all around.
Well the film had a post production problem with a dispute with Director Julie Tamor and Production company Revolution Studios over approval of Final Cut in witch Julie won and when the film came out, it didn’t find a audience at the time and failed at the box office but would later have a cult following
