I think it’s because the young lady used a lot of slang in talking to the judge and they both came off with a lot of attitude. Initially I felt bad but she continued to call the judge ‘love’ and ‘baby’ and she also yelled at and mocked the defendant

She wouldn’t have been able to get away with that in any other courtroom, and she needs to know that respect is due to the judge. Just because a person turns 19 doesn’t make grown it make them legal. 3 years ago this child was in high school and we all know that it take a more than a person being 19 before they grow into adults.
