No. Evasive steering assist actually applies a torque on the steering wheel to assist the driver in getting the steering back to the original position. In an emergency, most people tend to over correct or over steer. The evasive steering actually applies torque to the steering wheel after a driver turns it violently and suddenly to help with the evasive maneuver.
Great review. I wanted to know something, is it possible to add the aniline leather in the AMG models? I don't see a lot of s classes with that option, but when I do, it is always in a sedan model or the Maybach. Aniline leather makes the interior look more luxurious. I never seen it in the AMG models though. Even with last generation models. I never seen Aniline leather in the AMG models. Only the sedans or Maybach. If I were to buy a class, and wanted the s65 AMG model, I would definitely want the Aniline leather option added to it.

The new lexus also has complete stopping if theres no input from driver and pulls over, calls 911 etc
