Very well done. I loved it, no commentary, perfect song, great scenery, no overwhelming song or engine volume. Very enjoyable.

Had a 750B back in 70s and this brought the memories flooding back especially the overtake😛😛. A really nice quality vid one of best onboard I've seen. Thanks again for sharing this 👍👌

Thanks for this great video. So great to see and hear the old girl get out on the road. And I even enjoyed the song. Personal opinion only, but I think we had it great in the 70s and early 80s when bikes were so comfortable.

Amen. Lower to the ground overall and friendly, easier to clean and care for. I was a mechanic and service manager with a Suzuki/Kawasaki shop in N.Y. during that period and have many good feelings about the nature of the sport in that era and the bulk of the machinery being dependable as well. Only issue I had with the GT750 was the puddling of oil in the mufflers. On some test rides, the mufflers would actually catch fire internally if the machine had been pressed for high output. On the other hand, they were very robust. One of our earliest customers to get one ran his out of oil several times. Considering the overall situation, I simply refilled the injection tank, primed and checked for pump output, and sent him back out. It never developed a rattle and he eventually learned to keep the oil level up. Never did need any repairs.

Cool video, and I also think the music is a perfect match. I bought my GT750 in the mid 80's. Still have it but needs some work.
I love big machines with loads of torque thats why I ended on Yamaha VMax (1200 and meanwhile also the 1700).
The GT750 is exactly same type of bike. Heavy, powerful, naked and comfortable

Music is brilliant, my old Grandads fav pop song, the wonderful Noddy and Slade from 20 miles down the road from me in Wolverhampton. I had a Candy Red 76 GT750 fantastic bike. Great resto. Enjoy.

This was my "Dream" bike back in the early to mid 70's. Loved the look of them, and the sound of them.
They sure beat the "Plastic Missiles" that are routinely thrashed around the roads of this "Green Unpleasant
Land" My other favourite from the 70's was the Mighty Kawasaki 900 Z1. and the Honda CBX1000.

I had the first model with the big mufflers, balance pipe black cone mufflers. It wasn't as powerful as some bikes but it had more torque and tractability on the road than any other bike bar none. Open the throttle at 40 mph in top gear and you were off. I fitted mine with windscreen and legshields to make it as civilized a motorcycle as was possible. It even had good fuel economy. Although the quad leading shoe brake could get grabby when very small amounts of rain got into them.

My god! I had one from 1975-1977! Same color and stripes on the petroltank! Loved it!
And yes! Turn the Music of! Please! And after the Boiler, i had a GS 750 and then a GS 850!
Now I am Old and no bike😢😢😢Hans-J. from Denmark!

Great video... I have a restored '72 Gt750 J with the big front crash bar and 2 smaller ones in the rear, like the Japanese police bikes in White.....Have a slipstreamer front windshield on it too, makes a big difference over 70 MPH.....................Love riding it every week...for the 12 years I owned it and had mostly everything rebuilt...including the engine..........

  • @balmeros272

Thank you for this amazing video. I wouldn't change anything on it at all, love Noddy with slade, adds to that feeling of nostalgia. I remember both the Kettle and the band. Watching the video on the twisties made me feel as if I was actually riding the big 2 stroke triple, its the closest I will ever get to riding this bike, the kettle/buffalo suzi gt 750 was truly my favourite machine of all time. What do I love about the kettle ? - Well heres a few elements - the sound, the retro styling and all that chrome... I could go on. Love it thank you - Alan B.

Tore, to be fair...you have an excellent bike. It would have been a really cool video if you would have put the emphasise on motor sound...keep on smoking! ;-)

    • @toregrenasberg4001
      @toregrenasberg4001  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

On my next vidoe I will try to use an external mic on the GoPro camera. Try to pick up the motor sound better with less noise from the wind. Some of the clips will be taken from a drone + I will also try to mount the camera at different positions on the bike. Edit it all into a new video to post on TH-cam. Not sure when but hopefully this summer.

A tribute to Slade as well. In my opinion I think the music is a perfect the match for the video. Adds the correct 70'th feeling and the lyrics fits well too. You have to love a bike like this. It's like riding a time machine back to 1976. Link to the sound track: th-cam.com/video/VxFHTxI_dzs/w-d-xo.html

Wide bars, comfy seats, gorgeous styling. Something is missing from today's bikes; some look grotesque, as though they've had a swift kick up the arse. Motors buried under a sea of incomprehensible bits and pieces. I just don't get it. I bought my self a 2008 build Guzzi California Classic. Mates told me I was too old school! My reply, 'well, I needed a link with the past and and the Guzzi was the only machine I could find that still had a traditional flavour.' I've been hearing talk of two strokes making some sort of revival, if they do I'll be amongst the first to buy one!

Great little video! Love the bike and the scenery from Norway - but what narrow roads. "OMG - why's that car coming so close"?! One little criticism? THE MUSIC!! Whilst I appreciate the talent of Slade I think it can be done without here. Silence is Golden? Except for the gentle burble of The Kettle! Nuff said - the music is superfluous and very irritating!
Noddy Holder ; Real Name: Neville John Holder ; Profile: Lead vocalist and a guitarist in the group Slade, born 15th June 1946 in Walsall, England aka The Black Country due to its dirty industries - the metal-bashing centre of England.
Noddy Holder has spoken out on the royalties he receives from Slade’s 'Merry Xmas Everybody', revealing "it’s like having a £500,000 hit song every year". Rock On Noddy!
