Terry does not think of anyone else as his "brother". Anyone wonders why he's the only one still here in life from that era? He sold himself... he signed a contract... to whom might be the right Q u need to ask yourself. "Don't worship fake idols!"
I don’t know. Wrestling Bios guy is sounding downright pissy and we’re only three minutes in. I mean, he’s barely talking here. I don’t want to listen to him torture himself.
To answer your question, yes it’s Morocco at Epcot and the flying carpet and cannon scene were filmed at Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Hollywood Studios next door.
7:24 You're spot on, it's Aladdin's Bazaar in Magic Kingdom. Correction: it's the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT but they do have Aladdin meet and greets there lol
@primusvsunicron1 Yep you're right. It's definitely too big to be the bazaar now that I'm looking at it again. At first I was thinking it was where the bazaar leads to Pirates.
Bruce Prichard on his podcast claimed that the original plan for Wrestlemania 7 was for Tugboat to turn on Hogan and it would have been "Sheik Tugboat" this changed when Slaughter came in the summer of 1990. Apparently, Hogan remembered this and we actually can see what that looked like at 15:12
17:51 fun fact.. I actually had a nightmare that kept happening for days in a row, until finally it went a little further and credits rolled with a sitcom style outro and I never had that nightmare again
It's interesting how the "Middle East" seems to be only a half hour boat ride from Florida in this show. Lt. Dan's girl was set to get married to Giant Gonzalez like the next day. And it took Lt. Dan and Hulk Hogan Brother Dude only about a half hour to get to the "Generic Middle East" to stop that wedding! Either that... or this "Generic Middle East" prince stereotype, and Giant Gonzalez live in the Morocco section of EPCOT Center. Then, all Lt. Dan and Captain Jack Brother Hogan would have had to do was get tickets to EPCOT, like they do when they need to do scuba diving in The Living Seas aquarium. It really makes the show funnier if you start thinking about everything taking place on various Disney Florida properties, and theme parks, while all the tourists and guests are wandering around trying to enjoy their vacations.
Your perseverance in suffering through this absolute trainwreck of a franchise is admirable, but your commentary makes it enjoyable still. And yes, I did watch it in one sitting while doing some jigsaw puzzling, very zen-like in a sense
It's nice to see EPCOT Center's Living Seas aquarium tank used for the diving scenes again. Hogan is supposed to be underwater, deep under the ocean... and you can clearly see the aquarium wall right behind him, just like EVERY TIME they film a scuba diving scene in this show.
That indeed is the Moroccan pavilion in Epcot. I’ve taken pictures in front of that opening blue archway numerous times in my life. It’s a beautiful part of the land, but you can definitely tell as part of the theme park.
We may all be mad for watching this in one sitting, but you good sir are the true legend, putting yourself through this glorious dreck for our viewing pleasure. I think I speak for all when I say thank you for your tireless efforts!
There's so many episodes of this show where I've actually stood where they filmed scenes, back in the early 90's during a couple Disneyworld vacations with my family.
Nothing better than a train ride to work with wrestling bios and thunder in paradise... this has started my day with a smile and a laugh... i really hope you keep going with this...
At 41:34, when Lt. Dan and Capt. Jack Brother Dude are talking about Love At First Sight, Hogan name-drops Linda Claridge. That's Linda Hogan. Claridge is her maiden name.
This really made my day😂. Never thought I would say this, let alone watch thunder in paradise with so much joy that I am actually looking forward to the next episodes. 👌🏻😂
36:23 Haven't seen the end yet, but I'm assuming the "magic carpet with the tiger's face" will have something to do with Chekhov's Tigger plushie right there.
Keep in mind that TBS (Ted Turner's TV network, that also aired WCW), used to play this show endlessly on Saturdays and Sundays, and it promoted this show like CRAZY, as in, if you turned on TBS during the weekend, or during any of the WCW shows, this show was promoted and shoved down your throat ENDLESSLY. Someone at TBS REALLY REALLY wanted this show to be their top weekend show. Maybe Ted Turner??? Maybe Hogan had something to do with it? Who knows. But they would run like 6 episodes of it on Saturdays and Sundays, starting in the afternoon, and then re-run those same episodes at night. So during the weekends... during the time that this show was on TV, it was the MAIN SHOW on TBS that they forced down everyone's throats. I didn't know ANYONE who liked or watched this show. But TBS seemed to have the idea that "Just running this show for two days straight for 12 hours each, on their schedule either meant that the show was popular, or that the repetition would MAKE it popular. Either that, or the show was so damn cheap to run in those weekend timeslots that it was a no brainer. Why pay for a whole bunch of shows to fill a 12 hour timeslot when you could just run the same 5 or six episodes over and over again for the day?
Mate, I enjoy everything that you do, but this series is somehow extra special because it’s just relevant enough to belong, yet obscure enough that it’s like a brand new experience altogether
It sounds like the worst possible lame rip-off version of the Rollins Band's "Illumination" imaginable. But "Illumination" was released in 2000. Maybe Ol' Hank Rollings watched "Thunder In Paradise" and took the ultimate challenge of turning that POS "song" into something decent? It took him half a decade to get it done, but he did it!
I don't much bother commenting on TH-cam videos. But I know how much you suffer to bring us the joy of your take on the escapades Captain Jack Brother Dude and Lieutenant Dan. So I thank you kindly for it! Also, didn't watch all these when I was a kid, so the completionest in me thanks you.
I am 100% surprise you didn't say at the start like what Nash said when he debut in WCW "Yeah, where's Hogan? Out doing another episode of Blunder In Paradise?"
Once again, I am crushingly disappointed that we get random floofy magical stuff but will probably never get evil surfer-era Sting mind controlling sharks. EDIT: Yep, that's definitely the Morocco pavilion. Would have been funny if it had been busy and they had to use, say, Germany or something.
In the gym the other day they had the A-Team on the TV and it was an episode with Hogan. You should cover that one! The first half (the part I saw) looked hilarious, but I mention it here because it may have been what gave him the acting bug for this kind of show!
Wrestling Bios on a Monday, That works for me......Brother
Terry does not think of anyone else as his "brother".
Anyone wonders why he's the only one still here in life from that era?
He sold himself... he signed a contract... to whom might be the right Q u need to ask yourself.
"Don't worship fake idols!"
I don’t know. Wrestling Bios guy is sounding downright pissy and we’re only three minutes in. I mean, he’s barely talking here. I don’t want to listen to him torture himself.
I love these Thunder in Paradise videos! I know they don't get as many views but I hope you keep them coming. Absolute gold.
I rarely laugh this hard... the thunder in paradise videos are the best
I love these videos
Agree! Probably gets more views than the original episodes got!
Every time I see a new one, I get excited 😂
I love how low budget the show is, the ocean scenes look like a super nintendo video game.
The beginning 'song is David Flair's inner thoughts
LOL
He must be a prince if he has Tugboat and Dan Severn as bodyguards.
This is quickly becoming my favourite series on WB
I can’t believe I watched the whole thing!! Talk about doing the J O B
This is what started the Hulk Hogan and Mohammad Hassan feud in 05.
TIP fans reunite and rejoice!!
i dont like Hogan, but ill take 'just the TIP'
This series is a must listen when I take the dog out. People walking past must think me suddenly stopping and laughing is straight up mental
Same I would just be going for a quick blunt 😂
The opening complete with music looks like an adult movie 🤣😂😅
Yeah but not a good one 🤣.
@ it looks like something out of Emmanuel, if you wanna talk about not good 🤣
I dunno, I watched a lot of Skinemax in those days and most of those movies had better production value than Thunder in Paradise.
B-level Baywatch intro
@@z216ghost too kind more like a C 🤣
Words can’t describe how entertaining your commentary is on these videos. This is by far my favorite channel!
I know it's funny af 😂
Tugboat with the clothesline to Lt. Dan for the win😂
He fell on his ARSE
Shock Master!!!
YOU'VE RULED THE WORLD LONG ENOUGH, LIEUTENANT DAN!
Blunder in Paradise
Brother in paradise??
To answer your question, yes it’s Morocco at Epcot and the flying carpet and cannon scene were filmed at Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Hollywood Studios next door.
You gotta wonder if they filmed this and his war games promo back to back
I thought that all looked really familiar.
I was just at Disney world and it all looked familiar lol
I remember Morocco at Epcot being more authentic looking than this.
Shockmaster! There he is.... ol' Tugger
Not digitally adding the World Heavyweight Championship into the present box @32:25 is something I simply cannot forgive 😂
Hulk Hogan chose the music. He has creative control.
He's a clown
This show provided a deeply unsettling glimpse into what Hulk Hogan thinks is “sexy.”
These Thunder in Paradise episodes re-watchs are pure gold!
I've been waiting for more Captain Jack Brother Dude. Love it!!
Nice to see Brother Tugboat working security for the Prince
Am I the only one who hears zordon form power rangers when the boat talks 😂😂😂
Giant Gonzalez's character is just pissed off because Indiana Jones shot his ancestor after a sword display.
😂😂
2:41 there’s a nip slip, and that’s the best part of the film.
😂😂😂
1:03:36 "There's no Hulkamaniacs here!" 😂🤣
I died, came back to life and died again when I heard that 😂
Do Suburban Commando next.
7:24 You're spot on, it's Aladdin's Bazaar in Magic Kingdom.
Correction: it's the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT but they do have Aladdin meet and greets there lol
its the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT actually
@primusvsunicron1 Yep you're right. It's definitely too big to be the bazaar now that I'm looking at it again. At first I was thinking it was where the bazaar leads to Pirates.
Also Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular.
Liuetanent Dan's an Absolute Animal..."He's an Animal...An Animal, AN AMIMAL"
😅
Now now not everyone has Sting's acting abilities .
The freaking chips cracked me up so much 😂😂😂. Thank you. You're reviews are just great. You make this show worth watching.
I'm glad I'm watching this stoned.
The best series on TH-cam is back!!! let's go
Same!
"The answer is in a white castle!"
Cut to: Vader and the White Castle of Fear.
Bruce Prichard on his podcast claimed that the original plan for Wrestlemania 7 was for Tugboat to turn on Hogan and it would have been "Sheik Tugboat" this changed when Slaughter came in the summer of 1990. Apparently, Hogan remembered this and we actually can see what that looked like at 15:12
I'm now henceforth referring to Giant Gonzalez as 'Most Difficult'.
17:51 fun fact.. I actually had a nightmare that kept happening for days in a row, until finally it went a little further and credits rolled with a sitcom style outro and I never had that nightmare again
Seinfeld is the soundtrack to a concerning number of my dreams
Captain Jack Brother Dude back 2 back! It's Xmas! 😂😂😂😂
Needs more Captain Jack brother dude.
I'm a simple man. I see my boi Wrestling Bios talk about Thunder in Paradise, and I go and watch, brother.
Thanks!
"Starting this one off with a bang"
I think you mean "a bounce"
Macho Man was right about Hogan in 89, his heel turn was justified 😂
Facts!!! Hogan wanted the belt & Elizabeth 😂
😂😂😂
The Luster
Captain jack brother dude is gonna put the wish flower hat on and bring back skuttlebut
Yup hogan’s old lady was ugly and Liz was hott
Kellys dream man looks like Temu Tito Santana 😂

@stinnerrr 💀💀
Much love to Wrestling Bios, I just sat thru that 1.5 hrs straight for u!😂🎉
@ u got that right, brother😀😉
It's interesting how the "Middle East" seems to be only a half hour boat ride from Florida in this show. Lt. Dan's girl was set to get married to Giant Gonzalez like the next day. And it took Lt. Time for Cpt. Jack Brother Dude and Lt. Dan ☺️
Great, now I'm going to have the Wrestling Bios rendition of the Thunder in Paradise theme song stuck in my head all week!
Man, I love all of your videos in general, but these commentaries are priceless 🤣
Your perseverance in suffering through this absolute trainwreck of a franchise is admirable, but your commentary makes it enjoyable still. And yes, I did watch it in one sitting while doing some jigsaw puzzling, very zen-like in a sense
Fun fact, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart released the B-roll of those bikini babes from the intro on a mail-order VHS tape titled “Girls Gone Mild.”
MERCH!!! We need Captain Jack brother dude merch 👚
Definitely my favorite videos you've been doing lately. This show is so idiotic, but watching you suffer through it makes it more fun.
oh snap the bodyguard with the gun is Tugboat/Shockmaster
They haven't topped the Underwater Zombie Sting episode yet.
Big fan of how when escaping Hyperspeed only works after they have been shot at multiple times and only escaped death by blind luck
Haha… Even before you started ragging on that intro song I was already thinking how sh1t that song was. Haha!
I love how Hogan sleeps fully clothed 😂😂😂😂
This is the greateat series to ever exist in the universe. Please keep it up!!!!
Immediate grin when this pops up. Let's fuggin goooo
Linda Claridge? Haha. That was Hogan's actual wifes name. Nice easter egg they shoe horned in.
He said Glerge, but yes it was meant to be a nod to the real Linda. I caught that too
The red onion got name dropped in his book as to where they met too.
I like that when Hulk stopped running away, to put the guy and the camel in the way, it cost him more time than it gained.
We may all be mad for watching this in one sitting, but you good sir are the true legend, putting yourself through this glorious dreck for our viewing pleasure. I think I speak for all when I say thank you for your tireless efforts!
Captain Jack Brother Dude most definitely doesn't say "body of a goddess" @ 41:35
The editing in this show is unreal.
good catch
I couldn’t have watched this in 1 go without your commentary. It’s one of a kind Ty so much for this
The old acme net😂😂😂😂😂the commentary has looking forward to each episode of this
There's so many episodes of this show where I've actually stood where they filmed scenes, back in the early 90's during a couple Disneyworld vacations with my family.
Nothing better than a train ride to work with wrestling bios and thunder in paradise... this has started my day with a smile and a laugh... i really hope you keep going with this...

Iron Shiek as a genie on Thunder in Paradise would have been awesome
Ya’ll get three wishes or I will make you humble Jabroni
This really made my day😂. Never thought I would say this, let alone watch thunder in paradise with so much joy that I am actually looking forward to the next episodes. 👌🏻😂
0:39 Whoever made the intro song here swiped Shawn Michaels' fanny pack and helped themselves to its powdery contents.
The only thing missing was the Iron Sheik ranting.
36:23 Haven't seen the end yet, but I'm assuming the "magic carpet with the tiger's face" will have something to do with Chekhov's Tigger plushie right there.
Been stuck in bed for days with flu. I had to take breaks when watching this video because I was genuinely hurting myself laughing so much.
PLEASE keep doing this! This brings me so much joy and I need it right now, dude.

1:21:55 made it through because of the hilarious commentary and absolute absurdity of this show 😂 appreciate you Mr. Bios 🫡
God bless you, Wrestling Bios 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 comedy gold these videos
Ryan is a jam up guy
When he said "It's not hot." It sounded like they edited the audio from when Hogan visited the Dungeon of Doom.
If Captain Jack Brother Dude offers to "take you to his special island," I would advise everyone to say "that doesn't work for me, brother."
He would then just exercise creative control to override the objection.
But what if it works for some brother
the sockmaster is in the house
The American Nightmare’s UNCLE!!!!!!
Sat through in one go. Some of my favourite videos on your channel. Keep it up..... Brother.
Never in knew the show was around long enough to have a movie made part 2.
Carol Alt was a babe
49:48 Seriously terrible stealth. Random people are literally right there. This show's logic. Edit: WB then echoes my sentinment.
30:10 The kid didn't have the budget for that part of her dream.
The opening song sounds like the old undertaker promo about the dessert 😂
It sounds like the worst possible lame rip-off version of the Rollins Band's "Illumination" imaginable.
But "Illumination" was released in 2000. Maybe Ol' Hank Rollings watched "Thunder In Paradise" and took the ultimate challenge of turning that POS "song" into something decent? It took him half a decade to get it done, but he did it!

46:32 - "IT'S NOT HOT!!" almost made me spit drink all over my phone
😂😂😂😂 the dungeon of doom sound bits had me on the floor, "it's not hot, there's no hulkamaniacs here"
I am 100% surprise you didn't say at the start like what Nash said when he debut in WCW "Yeah, where's Hogan? Out doing another episode of Blunder In Paradise?"

The commentary was great this whole video. Thanks mate.
3:05 missed opportunity to make a joke about it 'feeling longer'.
I love these uploads. Thanks for the sacrifice of watching them.
51:55 Lt. Dan uses a Jedi mind trick to stay hidden.
Thank you for continuing these vids brother dude
PLEASE keep this series going. Loving all the work you put in ❤
you HAVE to get that flag now
In the gym the other day they had the A-Team on the TV and it was an episode with Hogan. You should cover that one! The first half (the part I saw) looked hilarious, but I mention it here because it may have been what gave him the acting bug for this kind of show!
