I don't see how that warrants detention under the Mental Health Act? It's just a man messing about with a slot machine, this doesn't happen in real-life, even if the man is a bit 'odd'. A more realistic situation where people do get detained under the mental health act by the police is matters relating to self-harm / suicide...

If the man had taken a bunch of pills he needs to be taken to A&E first.... my opinion.

He was threatening the staff
Those police need to fired if this was real as this man has done nothing wrong
