    This was also with Wilson being rusty and not playing the last five games of last year or the first 6 this year. It took him a bit to knock off some rust and I think going forward Russ will start hitting Pickens in stride and his completion percentage will jump way up!

    The main difference is when Justin plays well Justin looks good. But when Russell plays well all the offensive players look good. Like you don't have nobody saying that wide receivers arent getting open now. And that was a better offense /defense than the raiders. The raiders didn't have nobody but a backup quarterback the Jets had Aaron Rodgers. Russell did that on a rusty game against a Hall of famer with davante Adams another Hall of famer. George Pickens went from getting the ball every other third down on trip route to bein the best catcher on the field because of the type of ball he was able to be thrown.

      @@oshae248 the tight ends got the ball so put them in there too. The running backs weren't running the ball great early on. The defense wasn't playing great early on. And this is the point. The defense is the best in the NFL but if they're not playing great and we get behind can we depend on Justin to win the game. We saw multiple times we couldn't,but Russell used to doing this he's been doing this this whole career. One of the best 4th quarter quarterbacks of all time. And he's Rusty so he played better Rusty than your guy played at his best in his prime. Should I keep going you brought up five catches you forgot to bring up 111 yards the most he ever had this season

      @ljj734 just sit here and lie. Justin has completed passes to 8 different players in the cowboys and Raiders games. He threw for 241 yards against the Chargers with no turnovers by the defense. Threw for 315 against the colts no turnovers by the defense. BYW George had 7 catches for 113 and dropped a wide open T.D in that game. You just a hater

    The highlight of the broadcast for me was at the end of the game when they interviewed Pat freiermuth on nbc.... not only did he let out a heavy metal Roar towards the fans yelling moooooth, but when the the analysts pointed out that he just got a big contract this year to be the team's #2 receiving threat, he said something along the lines of "no- they're paying me to be the number one receiving threat." Don't buy your playoff tickets after one win against a 2-4 team. A QB change to someone of Russell Wilson's caliber can give any team an emotional lift. So this seems a to have been a good call by Mike Tomlin. The question is can it last and be effective against the top tier teams. We will see.

      @austinstyles6393 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No one’s buying a playoff ticket. But people are excited to see the passing game ignite. As far as top tier teams there really is only one team the Steelers probably fear and that’s the Chiefs. They really know how to win games. We always handle the Ravens. The Bills and Texans are good teams but the Steelers can play with them especially if Russ continues to play well.

    Shout out to the 2024 special teams... fans, we have been clamoring to get rid of Danny Smith for years, but the previous two seasons, they had some big special teams plays, but overall were not great other than boswell.... now they are really looking dangerous this year. I feel like every week there's at least one punt from the other team where you hear the crowd go ooooooo becuz it almost got blocked... and it looked like getting the Chiefs punter in the off-season could be a really great under the radar move for us, and then he gets knocked out for the season, but now his replacement is doing just as well...... it's almost like how Boswell came here as the third kicker they tried that year and they weren't expecting much out of him and then here we are. Bro, Russell Wilson had not played an NFL game in nearly a year! I dare you to step on a golf course after not playing a real course and play lights out! So, be realistic if you can be objective. Nobody thinks a player can play lights out on a brand new team without repetition! I hate when people get on here without being somewhat realistic in their discourse. He got us the W! That is what it is about! And, one thing Russell did was get out of plays when the defense had an advantage.

    PLEASE stop acting that Aaron Rogers aint shot. Get off the sugar high. Pickens made great catches on poorly throw balls. Friermuth made the catch that Connor Heyward didn't in the Dallas game. This is identical to the Raiders game. A turnover at the end of the half flipped the game. 30 points against two 2-5 teams. Yes it may have looked prettier but look at the numbers 55% completion. Russ was in his first game back, and he put the ball in position to be caught. Those balls were dropped right in the bucket. If it were THAT easy to do, JF and the other Steelers qBs would have been doing it!
      Russ is a special QB, and you’re going to find out just how special this year!
      I notice Pickens doesn’t get separation. Not 2% of QBs can put the ball into position to be caught with guts hanging all over receivers, and Russ is one of those guys!
      Last night was no fluke! In basketball, great passers make great shooters. In football, great passers make great receivers. Of course receivers can make passers look good too, but you saw Russ put that ball into position to be caught over and over, and when he wasn’t doing that, he was dropping it straight in the bucket. He’s accuracy is uncanny
      If he didn’t have a long history of making average receivers look great, I would be with you, but I’ve watched Russ do this over and over again with guys who would otherwise have been no-names, and most of whom nobody can name right now.
      Other than DK, Tyler Lockett, Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, Jermaine Kearse, Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and George Pickens, none of whom are HoF guys as we speak (DK is the only realistic candidate) name one of Russ’s receivers.
      Okay, Jimmy Graham is certainly a HoF TE, but Russ had him at the end of his career…ditto Greg Olson (TE) and WR Brandon Marshall. His chemistry with Josh Gordon was unreal, but he never got to use Josh Gordon - whom I would consider bringing in to the Steelers btw.
      Over and over, Russ has made huge plays with guys like Paul Richardson, David Moore, Luke Willson, Marvin Mims, and others. Russ turns average receivers into good ones and makes good ones look like Jerry Rice because he can deliver the rock!

    Russ had a good game. I think if you were being honest he completed a number of under thrown passes bouncing off people came the persist. Will the next team be as dumb not to play a safety over top of Pickens. Be as ruthless about all the bad throws in dirt that you so critique fields for. The jets look just about as defeated a team as you could face. The last game the scored about the same in second half and the whole conversation was but what about first half. Saying all that good job Russ but I will be interested when all 22 comes out if you will be able to manage to critique the play in same way as you did Fields and simple say we are going to need to see more.
