Yes!!! My son is 10 years old and autistic.. Its no joke at all...it can be very overwhelming because with my son it's like walking on eggshells.. You never know his mood from day after day.getting in trouble at..schools ..cussing tantrums..he takes medication.. But I try to find ways that work for us both. Breathe,!!! Yes sister u are so right! And patient.... I'm trying each day to become a better mom towards his needs and try to understand them.threw therapist and counseling...
Thank you KC I have a daughter who is 23 she has autism and my 20 year old and my 18 year old is developing delayed. I do what I can to take care of them and love them. God has blessed me with a job I can do at home to take care of my family.🙏🏾

This hit home bc I have twin boys that are autistic and it is a job especially with 2 kids with a disability but I love them dearly and they have came a long way there are times when you have to go off to yourself and cry and pray but at the same time ask God to help you through those trying and hard times so I really appreciate the acknowledgement for parents with kids who has autism it is a job within it's self❤

I have two children with disabilities. One is autistic and the other one has Down syndrome. This quarantine has been very challenging to say the least! But we making the best of it! Then we have one with learning disabilities 🤦🏾♀️. She is my biggest challenge. I can be a mom and a nurse but I am not and I repeat am not a teacher!🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️ please pray for us!!

As a mom to a adult son with special needs, I really appreciate when other see how hard life can be as a parent of a special needs child. You give up your life to take care of them❤️ all parents do that, but it’s different for us. It’s 24/7 until I’m too old to take care of him.

My son has a intellectual disability plus a pten mutation and I thank God he graduated last year because it took a lot to get him to go to school but he made it out and I love his school because it was a behavior school. Taking care of a special needs child/ adult is not easy but I wouldn't trade him for nothing in the world. He's brought so much love, joy and happiness to my life.
