2:04 Should have been obstruction on the pitcher. When he ran to the base, he cut off the runner without the ball and the runner slowed to keep from running into him. Runner should have been awarded first base.
@@kiffygreene4598 fielder only has the right to make a play on the batted ball, not a thrown ball, and even then the interpretation is that only one fielder can be given that protection. The pitcher, not in the act of fielding a batted ball nor in possession of the ball, hindering the advance of the runner is a valid obstruction call. In pro rules there is no guarantee of a base award unless the obstructed runner is actively being played on (tag attempts, essentially) so he would only get first if the umpire both calls obstruction and believes the runner would have been safe without the obstruction.
To prevent spiking and collisions at first base, a flat extension of the base into foul territory should be added. The batter should be required to run to it if there will be an attempt to get him out.
15:15 Tony Saunders humerus snapped in half mid-pitch, ending his career. He tried a comeback in the minors several years later, and the same thing happened five starts in. Jose Canseco claimed it was due to excessive HGH and steroid use, which Saunders denied.
At 13:00 how can they both be out? If there are 2 runners on one base then the lead runner is entitled to the base I believe but either way whoever he tags out first then the other runner is alone on that base so they can't be tagged out?
Only one of them was out. There was an instant replay right after so it looked like the ref signaled another out, but it was just the first out being shown again. If I remember right, #7 should've been the one out there since #8 had already advanced and was occupying the base.
Pitcher got thrown out. He probably already had a warning about hitting batters and when he threw it behind the hitter the ump decided that it was intentional and threw him out.
16:52 Every marlins pitcher who hits a Braves batter should be automatically ejected along with their manager. No argument. If they hit Acuna it should be followed up with a 20 game suspension.

Kinda like softball which the double wide orange and white bag at first (this is for softball where I'm from in Canada not sure about anywhere else)
@@habs8715 I’m delighted to hear that this obvious improvement has made a beachhead. I’ll use the descriptor “double-wide” in the future.
I like baseball my favorites are Texas Rangers and St Louis Cardinals ♥️

10:40 wtf Alvarez showed no concern for nearly knocking out his teammate.
You know what would be nice?? Some replays on certain plays. Some of these compilations are really hard to with this shotty editing

These cuts are like shaving with a 5 year-old razor. Technically, the jobs gets done but it sure ain't pretty.
Plus he can’t decide if it’s an oddities video or just highlight plays

Javy Baez was so good for the Cubs, hate to see him on the Tigers. He deserves a better team
4:50 who got thrown out and why???
