This is not at all my sort of music, but I got here through Doomtree and Dessa videos. Aby Wolf caught my eye in the Dessa, NPR Tiny Desk video. Her part is small, but damn good. Dessa and Aby work well together. Blah, blah, blah… With all that being said, I love this song. I've probably listened to it 30 times now. Excellent.
I think that might be caused by the voice manipulation she is using; making it look like it is out of sync when actually the movements we see we do not necessarily reflect the sounds we hear because of the distortion. Just a theory :)
