Creta looks big from outside and interior is beautiful no doubt but in terms of drive pleasure and performance as you said Taigun has edge it’s not edge Taigun is miles ahead and Creta is nowhere near in terms of performance and handling.
Good comparison video. Perfectly titled Heart vs Mind, representing the exact condition and confusion I’m in. But I feel the review should have been Creta N Line vs Taigun GT, to see an apples to apples comparison.
I'm planning to buy a new car in December (this will be my second car after driving a Hyundai Xcent 1.2 Petrol for 6 years). My budget is ₹15-22 Lakhs, and I’ve shortlisted Scorpio N, XUV 700, Creta N Line, Taigun GT, and Kushaq. Honestly, while the Scorpio N and XUV 700 are powerful and great value for money, they feel impractical for my mostly city driving. On the other hand, Hyundai/Kia cars feel more like electronic gadgets on wheels - lots of features but not as solidly built. After driving a friend’s Taigun 1.0L from Hyderabad to Goa, I was blown away. Even on ghats, it performed flawlessly! Now I’m leaning towards the Taigun GT DSG (~₹19 Lakhs on-road). It feels like the perfect all-rounder with a great engine, efficient AC, good steering, and top-notch safety. No hits or misses for me!
Recently I bought VW Taigun 1.5 DSG and I didn’t even consider Hyundai or Kia. Safety of Kia is similar to Killed In Action…I don’t know why people consider to be compare-worthy with VW.
I agree, those who have driven German cars will never go for more feature oriented japanese and Korean cars. German car solid built and the engine and driving performance cannot be matched
I am a Seltos X-Line owner, I’ve had the chance to experience both the Creta N-Line and Taigun GT through friends/colleagues and have driven all three. While I genuinely enjoy the comfort features offered by both the Seltos and Creta (one of the main reasons I choose the Seltos), there are two key aspects of the Taigun GT that stood out for me: Sound Quality: Coming from a family of audio enthusiasts, including my father, who is an audio engineer, I can confidently say that Kia and Hyundai’s Bose-branded systems don’t quite live up to the hype just marketing gimmick. In contrast, the Taigun’s sound system is incredibly well-tuned and backed by high-quality amplifiers and subwoofer, so much that I noted down the part number of the amplifier under the front seat and went home and did my research on it and found out that It’s their in-house OEM system, and VW/Skoda equips the same in all their models, up to their high-end Audi A8. The clarity and balance in the Taigun’s audio setup are genuinely impressive. Driving Confidence: As someone who usually needs a bit of time to feel comfortable with a new car, I was surprised by how confidently I could handle the Taigun right from the first drive. It felt stable and controlled, allowing me to take turns at speeds I’d hesitate to reach in my Seltos, even after a year of ownership. The Taigun simply inspires confidence on the road in a way that’s hard to overlook.
Taigun/ Kushaq is for those who love Build Quality, Safety with 5 Star GNCAP & Enthusiasts with its performance & handling combo.. For everyone else it is Creta with features n offcourse Panaromic Sunroof lovers.. After checking both cars in person the Space n Comfor is on par overall & there no advantage to either one reality..
Taigun gt trail edition owner i am 6.2 ft and my brother 6.1ft the anchor being 5.9 saying rear seats have less height and seats are not comfortable. Trust me dude its not an issue at all. Most comfortable seats.
I own a kushaq 1 litre tsi.. it is a very good car but has a steering rack issue which can be felt while going through rough terrains and sharp potholes.. company has to rectify and make a recall..
Tabhi to koi nhi lete taigun ko even tho they are in same price point... Everyone knows taigun is not an practical car, poor mileage, poor interiors only good thing about taigun is build quality other than that it's trash compared to creta or seltos
@@ankitsen5971Poor mileage…bhai mere Kushaq DSG mai I am getting 11+ and on Highways 20+ and 16+ in ghat road… it all depends on driving skills….keep in mind..feature can be added anytime but engine performance and safety can never be… all cars are good…just see which one fits requirements…

Creta have 3 engine options... And it's way more practical car than taigun
Like creta has turbo
