One thing ive noticed about overcoming isometrics, is that mroe than any other type of exercise... the explosive power of quick muscle fiber recruitment is huge. Punching, kicking. Its much easier to hit harder

Funnily enough, I was just about to comment this. Athlete coaches advise against heavy lifting, because it makes you stiffer and slower, as you're moving the weights so slowly. But with isometrics, the body can't tell whether you're trying to lift it slowly or quickly, so you improve in both.

Isometrics improves practical strength. I have personally witnessed this in my own training

    3 weeks ago I achieved a one-arm biceps curl with a 34kg kettlebell.
I really like Steve Justa's method to develop strength

I think Steve Justa's methods are the best. I have both of his books and pattern my isometric training after him. That being said this young man right here has it going on, and I have learned a lot from him through his videos. He's the only other one I'll take advice from when it comes to isometric training which is 85 to 90% of what I do.

Isn't yielding isometrics just as good as overcoming? For example farmer strength is primarily using yielding isometrics, as you said dynamic to lift and isometric (yielding) to hold whatever in place. And we know farmers are ridiculously strong but i dont think they use as much overcoming as they do yielding. Same with those who use the bullworker, it can bring fantastic results. I do understand though that overcoming isometrics is vital.

A muscle contracts from origin to insertion and not a single portion

Isometrics will give you dynamic strength. This vid should be shown to newbies and layman interested is Isos.

Although I heard that iso only helps for specific angles, I personally feel stronger in all my body. I feel that I can use more muscles at the same time when doing a movement or lift.
I am being careful and I do overcoming isometrics imitating the big lifts (deadlifts, squats and bench press). So far it works for me, the only thing I have to work is the overload of the nervous system and fatigue. I am a little old (38).

Does 6×6 training build muscle as effectively as 20 to 45 seconds hypertrophy hold ?

Great content and advice as always!
Best channel on isometrics without a doubt!
On my side, training with the isochain, towel etc, I noticed I definitely became stronger, more efficient in other exercises and mma throws, resisting more efficiently against arm lock attempt etc but not much muscle mass gained yet maybe cuz I only started 5weeks ago with isometrics.
When you say about 6/6 , is it per muscle group? For example, I’m doing 6set of 6seconds for shoulder press, 6/6 for a pull, 6/6 for push ups with a towel. If we want to add triceps, biceps, and different angles it becomes maybe too much for the CNS right?
Or maybe we should divide the training in smaller ones?
