this group, if hwayoung was never added would have been legends. freaking hwayoung destroyed the group as if nobody ever helped her get here. even after t-aura disbanded, she’s still acting as if nothing happened.
they were legend ..no grp had top songs in korea back to back during their era hehehe
her addition didn't even have much impact, i mean, it wasn't as if she added much to the group, she wasn't an outstanding singer or rapper. it's truly unfortunate and unfair what happened to t-ara.
Their company just so stupid for adding more and more members to an already perfect group. Hwayoung rap is quite decent but has no big impact on the group as other members can also do the rap parts.
Honestly Mbk really fcked up, they should’ve never changed the lineup and they didn’t do anything to save the group when the scandal broke... They just left them hanging...

I'm a Sone, but this really makes me cry. 5 years, they had to be surpased 5 years with nothing except sadness and criticism, 5 years of their youth which could never be returned. Hyomin even revealed that other idols avoided them except SNSD. It was an extremely hard time with them. Their career was destroyed by a ridiculous scandal. People should remember how perfect they were.

Qri crying says A LOT. We’d never seen her cry until that day so you can imagine how painful and depressing those 5 years were to them and the fact that they had accepted that they would never win again but little did they know that that destiny would change that day. You can see how shocked they were and afraid of taking the award. Sad that Eunjung wasn’t there to experience that unforgettable night with the members bcs of the drama, and even sadder that Soyeon and Boram left the group that year but I bet they cried as much when they heard about it. I remember even other fandoms were emotional that night. Forever proud of them for never giving up.

Hwayoung accused T-ara of bullying them and left the group in 2012
5 years later, former staff of MBK came forward and said the whole thing was a lie and Hwayoung and Hyoyoung (they're twins) lied about everything and in fact they themselves were bullying another member of T-ara (Ahreum).
They also the exposed the two bitches and how shady they were. Always complaining about everything, faking pain from small injuries etc. etc. So basically these two snakes destroyed T-ara's career.
Before the scandal, T-ara were among the top GGs in SK. Their song Roly Poly was the #1 song in SK in 2011, their other songs Cry Cry also did SUPER well and was won them a lot of awards. Their song Lovey Dovey was also huge and viral.
I know right! They released so many bops after the scandal that we're so underappreciated.

There were 6 people in the original line up but hwayoung joined at the 7th member 2010 and ahreum joined as the 8th 2012 during day by day where she was the main character during the MV. Hwayoung only performed one song because she was reported suffering from an injury in Japan and hyomin wrote on twitter about determination levels and jiyeon commented and agreed and said to always be humble and stuff. Hyoyoung the twin sister made a tweet saying determination isn't enough and said something along the lines of God is my witness. Hyoyoung kept saying stuff like how hwayoung was being bullied by them and hwayoung posted on twitter that she only had her twin for support. The public began to hate t-ara Nd picked on every moment they didn't include her and hwayoung was sucking it up. Then 2017 a staff member showed text of the true story. Hyoyoung messaged areum and after areun said hi Hyoyoung then said stuff like "if you don't say thank you ill beat you up and rumours spread fast don't go blabbing". These are direct quotes now “Let’s give you a beating at ‘Music Bank.’ There will be dust everywhere.

A lot of groups cry when they have a first win or an unexpected win, cause music show wins are a major symbol of success and acceptance in K-pop industry. But this is really beyond any other video... usually there is a member together enough to give a short speech while the others wipe tears away. In this case, they were really astonished and ended up sobbing. They didn't even know what to say because they didn't even suspect theyw ould win.
I don't think it was even because they didn't suspect they would win. I think it was just a huge accomplishment for them to finally have moved past the public's poor perception of them and finally be recognized as a "best" group again. It seemed like they were moved thinking of the struggle they went through to get back to this point.

Me, a 50 year old man. sitting here the good ol' US of A. actually knowing something about T-Ara's history of being falsely accused and relegated to the realization all T-Tara could do try, promote their last music, and hope for 2nd or 3rd best (even after a few members called it quits). I've watched this video, even though I've seen it a few times, realizes that this is one one of the greatest triumphs in music history ever. To have them win a coveted award, on the eve of the ending of their own contracts... it's like the proper vindication and just reward for all the work they have done. Not just this one song, but for a lifetime achievement. Each time I watch this, I start to tear up, especially when Qri, normally strong and steadfast, breaks down in tears. When she starts to cry, yep, I'm done. I cry too.
Congrats to T-Ara. They deserved this....not for just this song. but a career of giving us incredible music and never receiving proper credit.

I have been a fan for over 8 years, since "Yayaya" era.. I still remember after the scandal happened, one of my friend was joking with me about T-ara would be disband and immediately I bursted into tears, even though she was only joking. That was the first time I cried because of an idol. Watching this breaks my heart.. Now that they are not on the same path anymore, I hope that all members will stay happy, healthy and enjoy their lives. Thank you T-ara for everything you had done. I’m a SONE and been following Snsd since debut, and seeing this broke my heart because they were so huge along side Snsd, Kara, and many more awesome group. When their scandal blew up, people hated them so much without giving them the benefit of doubt. A lot of their fans left the fandom because even them gets hated to the point of supporting T-ara was just painful. My cousin was a huge fan of them so I know how difficult it was for them. It was sad. 😢
It's the first time I've seen their last win, and this is just... Hwayoung has a special place in hell for what she did. Ruining the careers, lives, and reputation of other people just because. T-ARA will make a comeback, someday... :)

@@kazef4868 They haven't officially disbanded, they're fighting against MBK to get rights to their name and songs. It's still an ongoing case and MBK has 5 or 6 more chances to claim rights to everything I believe.
I personally don't think ot6 will happen anymore, Boram and Soeyon seem to have moved on from the idol industry. Boram barely updates her social media, so I think she's just done, and she's at the age where there are other priorities. But who knows, maybe they'll surprise everyone once the legal battle against MBK is over.
But yes, they are under different agencies, but only Jiyeon, Hyomin and Eunjung have signed contracts. I believe all their agencies have said that they'll support any group activities in the future.

This coming from a metalhead from NJ -- T-ara is one of the few kpop group to transcend that genre and elevate themselves into a very small group of greatest pop artists of all time .. IMHO, T-ara is on the level of ABBA, Michael Jackson, Prince, The Bee Gees, etc ... The six members of T-ara had amazing chemistry and brought a lot of truly great songs to another level with their unique personalities and talent .. and I have not given up on Qri, Soyeon, Hyomin, Boram, Jiyeon and EunJung reuniting and making their historic return .. I love them

I doubt they’ll disband anytime soon, the members just won legal rights to the name T-ARA and all of their songs too, therefore MBK won’t be able to have rights to it and the members have all access to it meaning since they got their name they may make a comeback soon because if they didn’t get their name back they couldn’t have a comeback under the name T-ARA as mbk owned it but now the members own the name. Basically saying MBK didn’t want them to use the name T-ara so MBK tried to get the name as only MBK’s and the members filed against it and the members won.

Por fin veo un comentario en español, pero mas allá de las chicas que mencionas; el error siempre fue de la agencia, si el grupo funcionaba bien con sus integrantes no puedes arruinar la armonía de este. Al fin y al cabo, las cosas ya sucedieron, y mas allá de culpar a personas que integraron al grupo una vez conformado, es cosa de ver la mala gestión de la agencia, CCM o MBK hicieron las cosas mal y terminaron por afectar esa armonía. Una pena lo que terminó pasando con T-ara, pero como digo, no hay que solo tirar el dardo a Hwayoung, hay que tirarlos a la empresa que manejaba al grupo.
